My First Bitcoin Pizza Day Celebration!

Hello everyone! Thanks for liking my 72 images in my last post (Pictures Attacked HiveLearners). Want a break from images? Today, I brought a video for you. But what is this video about? I celebrated my first Bitcoin Pizza Day with my dad.

What is Bitcoin Pizza Day?

In short, back in 2010, a guy bought the first pizza for 10,000 bitcoins when one bitcoin was around $0.004. So, in total, he bought 2 pizzas for 270,000,000$ based on current rate, if we assume that one bitcoin is approximately $27,000. Crypto users celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day on 22nd May and remind everyone about the power of Bitcoin.

Celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day with the Hive Family:

My dad and I went to eat pizza late at night on May 22nd to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day. I might not have recorded and celebrated it, but because of Hive, when I thought about Nke, Mahir, Prayz, SS, Bruno, Amber, Ayesha, and many others from the Hive and Hivelearners family, I decided to celebrate it and record it. Imagine if I had 10,000 bitcoins but no community to share my happiness with. Then, for whom would I have recorded it? Thanks to Hive and the Hivelearners family for being a part of my life.

Paying with Crypto:

In the end, my dad decided to pay, and just like every Pakistani, we were like, 'I will pay... I will pay.' Since the whole point of Bitcoin Pizza Day is about paying with crypto, I sold some of my Binance holdings and bought this pizza with EasyPaisa online payment. I really enjoyed every second of it, and I would imagine the entire Hive community was with me on this trip.

Nostalgic Memories:

This also reminds me of when I was in the first or second semester at university, and I ate out with my friends at Nuplex Cinema. We also paid with EasyPaisa on that day. It felt like someone gave me a quick tour of my early days in university life. I still miss Qaiser, Shahid, and Hamza whenever I get into some kind of trouble. We still help each other with online payments whenever we need mobile balance or a discount through a specific payment method. I can never forget these three lovely friends ever in my life. Our story was short-lived as two of them became officers in the forces, leaving us in the middle. Qaiser and I still meet with each other whenever we get time. Here is the first picture of us eating pizza. I look too young. I would have never guessed I would look like how I do now in the future. Before I develop a crush on my past self, let's move on to the next discussion.

Crypto Ban In Pakistan:

So, I've been hearing a lot of noise about crypto ban in Pakistan, but this time it will not be easy for them to ban. Imran Khan's government tried to ban PUBG, but Wakar Zaka unbanned it by fighting in court. Also, keep in mind that Wakar changed the syllabus of the 9th-grade computer science book by fighting against the mafia and won in the Sindh court. He is not like others who resort to riots; he does have civic sense. Our government is habitual of issuing bans, even once they banned Wikipedia. I am very hopeful that they can't ban crypto here because a lot of educated Pakistanis will fight with them in court against the government, and they can't win against our intellectual Pakistani minds in court. I have high hopes, and even if they ban it, it will be lifted soon because we will resist the ban. Here is an interview with Wakar below.
