Hello Hive Learners friends, good night, how are you tonight, I hope you are all in good health always.
A few days ago I have completed stage 01 (self-introduction) and tonight I will complete stage 02 (security lock in the hive). All good friends, before we go deep into a platform, we must know and understand first how the system and the security in it.
In hive platform first we have to understand about account security. Because I have understood it, tonight I will share a little explanation about the security key to all of my friends.
There are four keys in Hive, namely master key, active key, post key and memo key. All of these keys have their respective functions.
Master key is the most important key which is used to change other keys and can recover account if something happens to your account.
Active key is to function as transaction activity such as transfer and token exchange.
Post key is the key that is most widely used for social activities, such as making posts, commenting and voting.
Memo key is a key that is rarely used, this key is only used to encrypt and decrypt private messages sent via hive.
If you have not saved the four keys, you can see the steps below to save them.
Given the very important hive key as described above, of course, must store it in a safe place. Everyone is different in the storage process. We store it in a safe place and easy to find when needed.
For storage, it needs to be stored in several places, not just one place. Places such as Google Drive, flasdisk, email and many others.
Just a few explanations from me, sorry if there are still many shortcomings.
