To be honest, I’m still very new on Hive, just a little under two months in. I’m still learning my way around, but I’ve come to realize that getting involved and staying consistent really matters a lot on this blockchain.
At first, I didn’t even know where to start. Everything looked confusing, the communities, the frontends, the tags, I honestly thought I was going to mess things up. Luckily, my brother has been helping me out a lot. He already understood how things work here, so he guided me a bit. But I’ve also been making the effort to learn things on my own too, because I want to understand Hive for myself.
Starting Out Can Be Scary
Like most newbies, I was scared at first. I didn’t want to write the wrong thing or post in the wrong place. I kept asking myself questions like, “Who’s going to read this?” or “Am I even doing this right?” But the truth is, you’ll never know until you try.
I remember my first post, I felt shy about it. But I dropped it anyway and to my surprise, people in the Hive Learners community actually welcomed me. That small show of support really meant a lot. It encouraged me to keep going, even though I was still trying to figure everything out.

One thing I’ve quickly learned is that consistency is everything here. You don’t need to be the best writer or know everything about blockchain. If you keep showing up, even with small posts or comments, people begin to recognize you.

I try not to go silent for too long. Even if I don’t post a full article, I’ll engage with others, drop comments, or repost things that caught my attention. That way I’m staying visible and active. It’s not always easy, especially on days I feel lazy or blank, but I’ve made it a habit to just do something small each day.
I’ve also seen that consistency builds confidence. The more you post, the better you get. And the more people see you, the more likely they are to interact with your content.

How Leofinance Opened My Mind
I never thought I had anything to contribute in the Leofinance community. At first, I assumed it was only for people who know deep stuff about crypto and finance. But after reading a few posts, I saw that regular people like me were writing about simple things, saving money, financial struggles, budgeting, even random money thoughts.
So I decided to give it a try too. I wrote a bit about how I handle small money situations and things I’m learning from my own experience. And just like that, I found another space where I could grow and learn while being consistent.
