The second prompt by the hive learners community for newbies to write on this week goes thus.
Imagine you wake up one day and realize that for the next twenty four hours there will be no rules guiding the world whatsoever. What do you think the world would be like when those twenty-four hours are over? Use your imagination!
Actually, I think this is an easy puzzle. The answer to this is not farfetched. There is a certain rule in science that easily answers this.
This theory states that "all natural systems tend towards disorder."
This singular theory answers the question of WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THERE WERE NO RULES FOR TWENTY FOUR HOURS.
Frankly, I think the world might even end.
Even with the multitude of rules housed in paperback constitutions all over the world, the world still seems to be in disarray a lot. Governments all over the world budget huge amounts of money towards security. And yet crime rates are still quite high. Then imagine if the barriers and restrictions these laws placed on people were completely non-existent.
In that case, chaos would exist. If rules didn't exist, chaos would. Why? Because naturally, all systems tend towards disorder. It takes effort to cause action. If you do not want action, you don't have to do anything special really. All you have to do is to do nothing.
It is always easier to destroy than to build. If rules didn't exist for a day, I have no doubt that unlimited mayhem would be unleashed upon the world.
If someone offends another person and there are no rules, then there is really nothing to stop them from being vengeful and killing the person that offended them.
If rules did not exist, there would be no government. There would be no leaders. Everyone would be subject to nothing. Everyone would just do anything because they know that there would be no repercussions.
In summary, the world would cease to exist.
