Crypto Will Always Live No Matter The Opposition

In a world where the government cares so little about how its citizens survive and get well-paid jobs, crypto is the only way out.
Because of the kind of environment I grew up in, I got to know about cryptocurrency late. Those days in high school I heard about Bitcoin and I wondered, what kind of coin was because the only coin I knew back then was the Nigerian kobo. Who would have believed that one-day crypto would be the savior of the day?
I was someone who didn't believe anything online due to the alarming news of scams on the internet. When I graduated from college, I sought government work like I was going to die but found none. I took jobs from private organizations but the pay was nothing to write home about, I mean It could barely handle my basic needs.
There was literally no way out, then miraculously crypto came through for me and changed the narrative.
I wouldn't lie, if not that I found Hive, I don't know how my financial life would have been by now. Money to settle some of my bills wasn't a problem anymore, I mean, things changed for good. I know Money is not everything in life but without money we can't do most things.
Crypto has been a savior to many young people out there who are just starting life like me.
It has given us a way to survive even without government jobs. Sometimes, I imagine how far the world would have gone if our parents had the opportunity to know about crypto during their youthful days. A lot would change, the level of poverty wouldn't have been high in Nigeria like this. It would have been an added advantage to the government.
Unfortunately, the same government that is saying "there are no job opportunities," and calling us "lazy" are the ones fighting against crypto that has been bringing food to our table.
I don't want to get anyone emotional but seriously, some governments are the reason why their nation is not growing at all.
Recently the government of Nigeria made Binance Discontinue all Nigeria Naira services. Binance has been one of the easiest and safest trading platforms for me, I felt like crying when I saw that news.
I was just wondering, now that they have removed all Nigerians from Binance, what change has it wrought on the economy?
Whatever their reasons may be, I believe that the majority of Nigerians are not government workers, especially young people. A lot of them are into crypto, that is how they survive. The Government might have a reason for doing what it did, but to me, this act has removed food from the mouths of many Nigerians and it's a huge setback.
If they think people steal money and move them there, it's not everyone that is a scammer. Cutting everyone away for the crimes of few is injustice. Like I said, their reasons are best known to them so let me not conclude.
I expect our government to encourage young people to go into crypto since there are no job opportunities and the load seems to be too high on the government. Genuine platforms like Hive, Amazon, forex trading, and others are existing. They should encourage us to build our financial lives through them without depending on the government but they won't because they want us to be their slaves for life and that will never happen.
How has it affected me?
Since All Nigeria Naira services were removed from Binance, I have been finding it very difficult to convert my Hive token into my local currency. I had debts to settle today, and I was so confused about how to go about it, I already promised the person that I was paying today but I had nowhere to withdraw my money.
I spent the last two nights looking for wallets that have Hive listed on them. I stumbled on some but they seem to be too complicated. Thank God for @dwixer who has been there always helping me out.
We tried different wallets and eventually stumbled on one, though he lost $9 dollar on gate.io last night before getting this one that works. As an average Nigerian, Imagine what that $9 would have done for him if he had successfully converted it. But now it is stuck somewhere.
Well, I believe it's not a death sentence, things will come back to normal again.
The Way Out
Honestly, for now, the way out is to never give up. The government can keep fighting crypto but they can't terminate it. There will always be a way out, for now just look for a legitimate wallet and don't just deposit, look for people who know it to guide you through in order to avoid losing your assets, and let's keep moving.
