Everything that happened in your life happened for a reason. This is what we have heard since our childhood, but no one has told us how to react to that particular situation. Things happen in our lives; it's not a big deal, but how we respond to them is kind of a big deal. My option is that school didn't teach us how to be strong. Schooling is all about pressure. There is syllabus pressure, losing friends pressure, and many more things, but where is the kind of relief in all these things?
Books are not easy for everyone, and yes, even books are not for everyone's understanding level. Not every person can determine the actual meaning of the text written by a particular writer. It's a kind of understanding which every person can not be capable of. Books are quite, and they let the person interpret which meaning they wanted to. So books are for some specific people who actually know their worth.
I've read a lot of books and I've learned a lot from them, but when it comes to real life, I can't apply these techniques. I don't know why even though I learned some specific facts from the books, when the time for implication came, I always failed. I realised very late that maybe I'm a street person. I learned only when I paid for it.
I always considered "book smart" people to be my ideals because they haven't paid any cost for the lessons they have learned from books. But a street smart kid definitely gets every lesson after a lot of harm, mental abuse, and much more. So it's not easy to be a street smart person.
I've read a lot of books in which I learned that there should not be a second chance for a cheater, and I thought that I'd implement it in my real life. But the same thing happened, so I trusted them again and gave them one more chance to do me more harm than before. So I learned a lesson after paying its cost.
When I was nine years old, we went to tution after school. We did our homework there. There I made a friend named Yumna, who is very pretty because she belongs to the Pathan family. She's 10 times prettier than me. We were all eating some snacks after completing our work. She was the only girl there who didn't eat anything because she had nothing. I always wondered why she wasn't eating anything because we were all waiting desperately for snack time. But then my mother told me that her mother is a single parent, and she could hardly bear her education expenses so she was unable to provide other luxuries of life. Then I realised how difficult her life is, even at such a young age. So I shared my snacks with her daily, but she had already become street smart before she was even a book smart girl.
Hence, after all these situations, I discovered myself as a street person who only learned things from people, not books. It's not in my hands to be book smart, so this is the way I am. Although I'm working on myself every day to become smarter, there are still more things to do.
