I believe there is nothing or sacrifice too big to render for the one you love, it could be a family member, friend, or partner, what is friendship if we can not sacrifice our happiness for them to be happy or feel better.?
I have a brother that I love so much, out of my siblings he is the one I care for so much because he is always there for me, we understand each other very well, and he is someone that do talks to me whenever he's going through anything in life, he will never hide anything for me that is how close we are, I know we do have our favorite among our siblings, even mother's do have someone they love most among their children, they may not show it but we all know it happens.
This bother is my favorite and will always be, he is very understanding and always listens to me, always gives me his time, and takes care of me very well as his junior sister.
There was a day he called me and told me he was in the police station, the police arrested him when he went to barb his hair, hmmm if you were in my country you would understand how our police officers behave, I was disturbed and I was in school then, I was preparing for my continuous assessment, I can not call my mother because I know her health conditions, she is someone who could get attack if I tell her such news.
I do not know how to go about this matter, he called me at night when they asked them to call any of their family members because they didn't see anything incriminating with him, he was just holding his phone and was on his way going back home when policemen raided the street, I left my school very early the next day not minding the test I supposed to write the following day, this journey took me six hours before I get to his state of residence and I went to the police station because he had given me the address on phone.
The first question I asked them was that, did he had anything incriminating on him and they said no, so why would they detain him since last night, they couldn't find any positive answers to all my questions, we all know police officers must collect money before they can grant him bail.
I bailed my brother with #50,000 that I wanted to use for my project, I couldn't allow my brother to spend more days at the station because anything could happen if I prolonged the matter, I gave Caesars what belonged to Caesar on this matter.
I missed my test but I was not moved about that because I had to sacrifice that moment and save my brother, I do not know what could have happened to him if I had not given my full attention to the matter, some police officers can use him and replace another criminal just because he doesn't have anyone to support him, I was glad that I saved my brother and never bothered about the test I missed and the money I spent.
After two days I went back to school and met with my lecturer in charge of the course that I missed the test, I explained things to him and he said there was nothing he could do about it, he said there was no makeup test for the course, we all know this man to be a man of his words and very stubborn, he told me to prepare for the exam and that all he can say, I left his office then started thinking on how to read and get at least 50% to be able to pass the course, the course is one of my core course and a very tough one.
I had no regrets about missing the test at all because it was for my brother and I could go to any length to save my brother.
