One of the initiatives on Hive that I enjoy the most is the Newbies initiative. I find pleasure in every aspect of this initiative, and it has expanded my knowledge on certain topics that I doubt anyone could just take the time to put me through.
On Sunday, the newbies meeting was hosted by @starstrings01 and began at precisely 8 p.m. For this amazing meeting, we had two tutors @nkemakonam89 and @vickoly. They spoke in detail about how to grow in the hive and shared their experiences on how they began and where they are now.
We were taught how to use the Inleo frontend to create a thread storm out of our posts and how to grow financially on Hive and we must attend to the questions that follow the task.
Where do I see my growth in the next 6 months, 1 and 2 years on the hive?
I didn't have an excellent beginning on Hive, my onboarder left me without explaining how the platform operated, she just showed me a community to pictures every day and that is all, I had to work hard to get to this point on my own. As we all know, having someone who can support you on Hive will make things
so easy.
In the next six months, I want to gain more recognition on Hive through my interactions with other users and establishing strong connections with both people in my country and foreign users. I am glad for where I am today but I am not satisfied with it, I am hungry for more, I want to be financially free and by the end of the year, I want to look at my current growth and say I did it.
I have already set my goal for the upcoming year on the hive, and I will use every strategy I know to reach it, I want to increase my HP by powering up every month and by acquiring it through my post.
In the meeting, @vickoly shared that he typically engages with over thirty people's posts in a single day. This motivates me about his success on Hive, I pushed myself to do the same this week by engaging with ten authors' posts, which is what I accomplished. Also, I have been using the ocd incubation post to explore communities that I was previously unaware of, which has provided me with knowledge about communities in which I can participate.
After the meeting this week, I also set some people as favorites. I came across a post about financial freedom from an author, and after reading through all of his posts, I decided to set him as one of my favorites. This way, whenever he writes, I will receive notifications and can easily engage with his content. In addition to this, I also set some other people as favorites because I think they will have a positive impact on my journey in the hive when I build a strong connection with them.
Make a summary of your understanding of the just-concluded tutorial
I learned a lot from this tutorial, The biggest risk of all is not taking one, I can never be planning to make money and not plan on how to invest, @nkemakonam89 spoke about this aspect that we should be craving for success, we can not sit in our comfort zone and expect miracles to happen, we need to know what is going on hive, the new challenge and how to participate, the most selling token and how we can be part of it, talking about investment she mentioned that there is a new token in which we can invest zingtoken, and I read about it on her post and take a quick action by delegating to the community and also planning of buying the token and stake it before the price will skyrocket.
I also learned that there are some tokens that I can buy at cheaper prices and then sell them off when the price increases. Also, Nkem mentioned the bull run, explaining that we should be ready for it, it is when the price of Bitcoin doubles. She advised us to get started gathering hives now so that we can participate in the bull run and profit greatly from it when it takes place.
