We are so engrossed with mobile phones in life that we don't realize that some people need us the most in this age. Our parents need us the most and we cannot be theirs even by sitting next to them. In earlier times, people used to gather in a big gathering and talk about their heart's feelings, happiness, problems. And today's generation is more attached to people on social media than they are to their family.
Have you ever felt a silence while sitting with the whole family?
If this silence is felt, it is extremely deadly silence. Everyone seems to be sitting together, but has a mobile phone in their hands. And our parents understand that we might be doing crucial work, so they don't even disturb us lest any of our work gets spoiled because of them.
How much time out of twenty four hours do we give to our family?
Maybe two to three hours, but even then the mobile is in our hands. I wonder how mobile phones have hooked us.
Yes I know one day it will be hard for me not to pick up the mobile but after that I won't even care.
I am definitely saying that if I don't have a mobile phone for a week, I will be able to experience the moments of happiness that I can't experience behalf of mobile.
I will make my mother feel how special she is to me.
I will listen to what is concealed in her heart. I will plan to go out with my mother. I will give my mother that time which I could not give till now. I will eat food from different restaurants with her. I will take her shopping. I will give her a week's leave, she will sit quietly and I will do her work in her spot.
I will feed my mother by making delicious recipes. And in this week she will be my judge and I will be her cook. I'm so sure she'll make me a perfect chef in a week. (Asian mother has this power haha).
Along with this, I will be doing manicure, pedicure. I will go to the salon and get a nice relaxing facial. Because mobile has a full hand in delaying these things somewhere.
Being mobile-free for a week will at least keep me away from the tension of social media. And staying away from tension is the greatest peace of mind.
