A lovely weekend to all the hivers,
It keeps getting sweeter and better always with this weekly engagement especially for today which focuses on proverb that describes or matches with my life experiences. I acknowledge the entire hive learners team for consistently bringing this contest.
I hail from Africa precisely the west African region. Apparently proverbs are consistent words or statements most Africans engage in. There are different proverbs in different languages however the interpretation or explanation of the meaning matters most.
The proverb 'zero has become hero' is actually the recap of my life.
I had a rough background where I couldn't fend for some things when I was growing up in order to meet the basic need of man. The situation seems to be hopeless but I was optimistic and kept praying to God. A time came that I had to hawk just to contend with the life challenges.
With the little revenue generated, I was able to sort out few things. The struggle persisted until I was able to push and prevail via the academic terrain where I was able to obtain some certificates.
The initial development of my life looks like zero. The experience, challenges and other components makes up the starting point to appear like empty but when I obtained favor, the story changed. I engaged myself into personal development where I had the privilege to train and impact many other people.
One of the indelible push was when I finally landed on hive, this really caused a drastic change and my financial life received a quantum leap. I see myself as a hero because things weren't the same again. Wow anytime when I think about this, this proverb just refresh me that the zero has become hero.
what I learned
- Life has a starting point.
- The beginning of life might look terrible and tough but is actually a preparation towards greatness.
- I realized that destiny can be delayed but it can't be denied.
- I may be zero today but my tomorrow is greater and I'm a hero.
- I don't need to quit now but to be consistent and cheer up till I become a hero.
Thanks so much for reading my blog.
