ife is a risk, waking up each day is a risk, as it isn't even guaranteed when you go to bed if you would wake up to see the next day. Some people have gone to bed and didn't wake up the next day.
THE RISKS WE TAKE
Every day, we take risks, because it's a way of life. It could be in business, education, or even in our daily dealings. We take risks. Tell us about the most recent risk you took. Was it a major one? Did it pay off?
Have you ever thought about it that going out each day is a risk, because you might go and just be walking on the street, and get hit by a car, I'm not even talking about you even crossing the road. What I'm trying to say is that living life is a risk, and it is better you risk it than living your life being scared or living a preventive life and missing out on so much happening in the world.

All my life, I've been very skeptical about taking risks, I was that girl who would rather opt for the easiest way that didn't require any sort of risk than try anything that would put me out there or require me to take a risk.
I had read so much on finances, I had read about the various principles and efforts that one needed to put in to make your money work for you, but I was very skeptical to try any of the principles, especially investing that I found interest in. I felt like I didn't have so much money to invest, and couldn't risk losing money in any investment.
In late 2023, I decided to give investment a chance, I decided to damn the consequences (I still cared about them lol) so I started with buying stocks with low or minimal risks, I did this one time I got bulk money. I divided the money into parts and then used a certain portion for investing.
Before I bought my first stock, I did my research, before concluding to buy that particular stock.
After buying it, I was always checking the value via the trading app I used, if it went up I was happy, but when it went down, I would encourage and advise myself that it would bounce back.

It continued like this until a certain period when the currency of my country was plummeting against the dollar and it was looking really scary, then I bulged and sold it off at some point.
I do regret selling off as when I did, but I think I learned a lot from that singular experience. Presently, I would say I'm more risk averse when it comes to making investments, I won't say I am where I want to be yet, but I'm progressing. Now whenever I get some money, I'm thinking of where to invest it.
A month or two ago, when Trump started giving the tariffs for different countries, it really affected the state of stocks, some I had were really sinking, and at some point, I was thinking of selling off, but I persisted, and today those stocks that did really badly during that period are doing way better.
One thing I have come to learn from taking risks, if you don't take them, at some point, you will regret not doing anything, because, at that time, it will seem everyone has left you behind and you're still left at a spot.
So I suggest if there's something you want to do, take calculated risks, do your research and then make your decision to do it, because, in the long run, you will be proud of doing something rather than doing nothing
