Hello!! Everyone
Greetings everyone. I would like to welcome you all to my blog once again and yet another interesting edition of Hive Learners. After having a series of interesting topics on various weeks' editions, this is yet another very interesting one to keep us busy with. Personally, I find this very interesting because it is very much something we can all relate to and, hence, learn from others and know how things are around the world.
*Thinking about the future is one very important thing in a man's life. He/she deserves to do it once in a while because it makes us human and hence makes us have a focus target ahead of us. It does not only have to do with today, tomorrow counts too. So living our lives all about today and forget about the future will be quite a bad idea and way of living.
The future is very much important as our today is, for as days goes by with the proper plans and work in place we start to get back what we have been sowing from the past and what we have planted in our past determines how well we harvest from the futre.
Hence, Nigeria is my country, I am a citizen by birth, and I have got a lot of things to say right from the day I was born till this day. A lot of things have changed over the years, and this has got me thinking where are we actually going to
with the rate at which our world is changing and things are gradually getting out of hand.
It is a good thing to always be posstive and hope for the better but how long are we going to continue praying things get better for it starts to look like the more we pray for things to get better the worst they get.
The Future
Nigeria is been seen as the Giant of Africa
over the years, I had grown up to know this but, what really made us the giant of Africa has slowly dilapitate over the years and things have slowly derailed down the drain and its like we just floating on the waters now.
The past history of this country has been much more successful and more interesting than what it is now. It starts to feel like the more advanced the world gets, the more backward my country becomes and the more lost it becomes. Yes for some it is fine and all good but for many it is really not worth talking out. For this context, I would like to base this discussion under a few headings.

EDUCATION
Our education system was solid before now and things were really going well, though the ride was not all that juicy and easy-going, but, it had more worth before than what is looks like now. The government took education seriously, and hence tried all their best to make sure, it was properly attended to, but coming to talk of what it is now. Schooling in my country now is an entirely different thing. From the root, which was the foundation, it is now standing on shaky ground to the top of the educational level. Those who have the previlages to further and get a higher certificate, who have to study a course of four (4) years, are now into their sixth (6) years in school, all based on how devalued education has turned out to be. Our government no longer see the need to invest more into the educaitonal sector of the country but to self centered everything the country has on themselves and their families allowing the masses to suffer, hence bringing bad name and tanish the image of the country.
ECONOMIC SECTOR
This stands to be one in which everyone in the country suffers from. Things have risen in value, but the value of our currency remains too low to purchase them. Feeding has become a problem because our economic sector is out of control. What was supposed to be better and stand to benefit everyone is now not what we are talking about.
The cost of things has risen so much that living in my country now becomes a risk. Waking everyday, what comes to your mind is how am I going to survive the day, something you bought at a rate said to be less today, go the next day you will purchase that item double the price you got them the previous day. Its really sad to think about these things.
Now, talking of the future, for me, this is going to be very hard to say or make any conclusions or generalizations. But from the way things actually are now, it will be very hard to reverse most of the changes that are already in the system.
For me in the future, I fear things will only get worse, but we are still hoping for the better despite the shape in which things have turned out to be. There are a lot of things we stand to need right now to at least start this change we so desperately need.

A BETTER FUTURE
In my country, despite the fact that all these things are happening and things stand to be out of our control and reach, we still hope for a better world to come.
Personally, I think for this change we so much want to take shape, fall into place and start to happen, there are a lot of things we need and some of them may be.
- A change in our government
- The mindset of the people
- Total redenumeration in the economic sector
- Our educational system should be of a major priority, etc.
The change we need for a better future will come with hard decisions to make, and once those decisions are taken, I think we can have a better nation in the near future.

Thanks for reading once more
Much love
