GREETINGS WONDER HIVERS
It's another day and another wonderful edition to discuss. Most of us here are looking to further our education, and while some are already doing so, most are finishing up with that one course they had hoped to study in school.
For some of us, the course we ended up studying was not what we applied for, but on the other hand, we found what we were given quite interesting and worth doing. Basically, for me, what I am actually studying now and almost finished with wasn't my initial choice of course. You know, as a kid growing up, we all had that dream to study one professional course and be somebody of worth in the near future, but along the line, things changed, but no matter how bad it gets, securing that degree is worth it.
Growing up, I always wanted something more professional like medicine, so becoming a medical doctor was my dream, but things changed along the line. Due to my country's falling educational standards, I had to pursue something different because I couldn't see myself pursuing the medical line with no serious science background; however, despite this flaw in our education system, they were a subject I stood out for always coming out as one of the best, so I thought to myself, why pursue a career in this subject I was comfortable with, so this was actually what triggered me to study the course I am almost finished with.
MY COURSE OF STUDY AND REASONS WHY
So my course of study is actually Mathematics Education. Mathematics was a subject I had always done well in senior secondary school, so it was easier for me to pursue a career in a subject I knew nothing about.

Going to study just mathematics is great, but there stands to be low life application with that subject just standing on its own, so I decided to make an attachment to it with the educational line. Education is simply one trend that will take forever to crumble, no matter how bad the system is. Education still stands, so I thought it wise to attach this field to it to also make it look a little professional.
There are many reasons why I decided to go for the course I am studying right now. Below are some of them.
- I am more comfortable with numbers than theories and others, so I have to be in my comfort zone.
- Mathematics is both the mother and father of all sciences. It sounded superior to me, so I had to go in for it.
- This happened to be one of the rarely studied courses in school, so I had to go in for it for the crowd.
- The education attached serves as a spice to me, making the course of study more professionalized and, hence, adding more job opportunities for me.
These is a field of study that stands to provide a lot of benefits to the person who studies it and also to society at large. Hence, some of such benefits include:
The society benefits from this by the knowledge gained from the tutor of such Personnel. Being a tutor/teacher/lecturer of such courses therefore helps inculcate this subject into various young minds who are ready to learn, helping them become better citizens of society.
The subject helps make individuals more rational. From learning this course, it helps make one more rational and also gives them a quick sense of thinking and reasoning.
This field of study helps develop individuals mentally and strengthens their mental discipline, along with encouraging logical reasoning.
Mathematics stands to help develop the moral development of people who pursue its knowledge. This therefore benefits society at large. by having individuals who are morally stable and balanced.
Mathematics helps us run our social affairs and activities. A deep understanding of the subject helps us run our day-to-day activities and most of the advanced technologies applied in all social spheres of our lives are related to the knowledge of mathematics, which has helped their development.
Like a world around us where there is constant change of things, mathematics is therefore needed to help us equip ourselves to constantly stand to meet the various requirements to keep going.
Mathematics helps for the smooth coordination of our business, the counting of money, and other aspects that need maths application.
Mathematics is simply the bedrock on which all activities, aspects of our lives, and medical and scientific advancements and development stand to come through as a result of the impact made by mathematics scholars.
My field, my dream. I have grown to be so fond of the subject. It is what I love, and I am glad I have the opportunity to pursue a career in it. The key to rational thinking and systems and the unique performance of activities Stand to gain an understanding of mathematics.
