MY FIRST PAY AND COUNTING::

I am glad to be part of this wonderful contest, though I have been having issues in posting recently, I have been quite down in health recently, being part of this week's contest I am very much happy.

Back to the center of attention for the day, I will say as a kid growing up we very much dreamt of making our own money, this has always been a dream so for it happening became a dream come true.

As a child, I was pretty much-given money from various relatives who came to visit but that was not so satisfactory as getting to make your own money. So I was never allowed to work based on the family setting I found myself in. All my Dad wanted was for us to very much focus and keep our heads low and go to school. He was a man who very much valued education so I had no chance or leverage to do side hustle other than going to school.

So in my second year in the university, I happened to go home for a holiday luckily for me, the school close to my house was conducting their common entrance examination. This is a placement examination into junior secondary school so since I was once a student who graduated from the school, and my course of study, I was called upon to go help solve their mathematics problems which I did.

I went there with Joy in my mind for I knew something would come out of it. The questions were quite simple so at the end of the whole exercise, I was paid a sum of Six thousand Naira, quite an amount of money for just an interval of 30 munites to an hour. That was my first real pay. I was very much happy, my dad too nobody was happier. For that was his emphasis read your books, do well in school get good grades it will speak for you and take you places.

Smiles. My first payment can be quite less stressful and it was a motivation for me to study more, come and see the excitement in me that day, it was a dream come through for I have very much wanted to make my first money.
