Every human is unique and no one is an island of knowledge, most times we all need each other to reason together during a difficult situation before the solution is provided, just imagine adding all the ingredients a soup needs to get that delicious taste, and when one ingredient is missing, somehow you must know and if it doesn't get added, you feel the meal is incomplete.

During my sophomore year in school one of my room mate, we had two bunks and four of us shared a room in the hostel, she was harrased by a lecturer and didn't know how to deal with him, and to make matter worst, his course was a compulsory one, if it was an elective course, she would have probably just skipped it totally, the old married fool of a lecturer was fond of this act, since we would always hear rumours but he has never been caught in the act, Mary is an introverted type, even modest in her dressing and a smart girl not the beauty without brain types that could easily be taken advantaged of, she was a studious type, so she was worried why the lecturer would take interest in her and want to make her school life frustrating, she was down for weeks and wouldn't talk to us, we probed her relentlessly out of concern till she eventually revealed the event that took place in his office, he had asked her out, to meet him at his hotel room, and if she refuse to give him an answer, she fails his course and not just his alone, he would make sure she fails some other courses as well.
We girls came up with different plans, one suggested we report to the school authority, another suggested we set him up, and I suggested getting my aunt aware, she was their HOD then since we couldn't decide on which option to follow, we went with all the plans, we set the lecturer up while he was talking rubbish, she had his voice recorded, which we took to my aunt, and she took it up, O doesn't know how they sealed with him, he was still lecturing, but the disturbance stopped and my room mate's grade was not tampered with.
Agreeing on something and an excellent result
As an usher in church, not being in uniform most times makes us hard to be identifiable, we decided as a group to be uninformed, by choosing specific colors for different Sundays except on first Sunday which is usually Thanksgiving Sunday, and also contributed towards getting the same fabric for us all, not only did we become identifiable as ushers in church, we also look smarter than we did before, confidence doing our ushering duties increased, to match our uniform, we got an usher Id worn on our neck during the service, we were proud of our uniform decision. There is always joy and Peace when a team agrees on something together.
Both above experiences taught me to always respect people's opinions, not look down on anyone, and also trust my instinct, and when a group agrees on something the result is always excellent.
