Hello wonderful hivers, welcome to my blog, the year 2022 is at its end and a new year lurking around, waiting impatiently to take over, its common to see people reviewing themselves, making new plans and setting goals for the new year, I guess we all feel there is a need for reset, not a bad thing though, as long as it keeps us on track with a direction to follow and something to come back to when we miss the way, I like to think of goals as a road map.
Joining hive some few months back, I was without a direction, not even sure of what I was doing, thanks to the newbie initiative program I joined, they made us know and understand the importance of setting goals, not just any goal but SMART goals,
Smart
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Time bound
in 7 weeks, due to the consciousness of the goals set, the determination to achieve the goals became high. I'm glad I was able to meet up with almost all the goals set.
Now looking forward to the new year, hive has literally become a part of me as a day doesn't go by without me thinking about the blockchain, even on days when I'm so busy offline, mum life, the job, especially with my job as it requires ones full attention that I don't get to engage as I should, talk more of making a post, it makes me feels down, since I've come to this knowledge and there is no way I can do away with any, I guess its time to be intentional about creating time and setting a new year hive goal is the pedestal I need to kick start the year.
MY HIVE GOALS FOR THE YEAR 2023
HP GOAL
This definitely has to be the first on the list,as its importance cannot be overemphasized, to remain relevant on the blockchain, have a high stake and voting power also being able to delegate to others, I need to increase my HP, currently I have an HP of 278, my goal is to attain an HP of 1200 at the end of 2023, not an easy feat, but its attainable with my consistency in publishing a post regularly, by exploring different communities also joining their contest as some communities tebd to support their authors, making sure my post are of quality to gain their support also, by powering up frequently, I see myself attaining this goal.
Engagement Goal
This is the goal I have to be very intentional about this new year, making sure to get to know more authors this new year, also become more active in various communities, any spare time I have will go into being active, I will also be intentional in creating time for hive. Engagement is a fun thing to do, so it won't be a pressure to me. What is the essence of creating post without having readers, that just show how important engagement is to every author.
My reputation Goal and follower goal
My reputation sits at 61 at the moment, I hope to reach a reputation of 64, probably beyond at the end of 2023, hopefully making quality post and getting enough votes would help in making this post achievable.
For my follower goals, I stated before about getting to know and meet new authors, not really by my power, hopefully I get new followers through this method too, and have an increase in my followers from 66-150 by the end of 2023.
As the year goes by, I'm open to more positive improvement and goals. 2023 please be nice!😀
