Everyone enjoys hearing or seeing a love story. It is obvious that we all adore discussing love. It's one of the most powerful feelings ever. We even talk about romantic or love ships in the movies we watch. Love is always welcomed.
First love is the expression of emotion for another person for the first time; it is frequently the most fantastic experience, and I would love to share mine with everyone.
My first love was in high school, and it was the typical high school love story you hear about. It was an unrequited love for this lovely high school girl. During high school, I was a popular figure among my friends and teachers, and with good cause. My brain, not my beauty, attracted the attention of the opposite sex.
I had paid little attention to such eye signals and nice gestures from girls at school because I was too preoccupied with my schoolwork to notice them.But everything changed when I entered senior class, I was summoned to the staff room by a teacher to choose a book, and while conversing with my teacher, I heard this extremely gorgeous accent.
"This clearly does not sound like one of my teachers," I thought to myself.
As a result, I raised my head to see who was speaking. It was the first time I had ever been star-struck by someone. As I stared at this young girl, I absolutely froze for a few seconds, the background noises in the room were deafeningly quiet. She raised her head and we made eye contact, she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I quickly took my eyes off because I did not want her to feel as if she had caught the great @gone-hive staring at her.
But I knew something was amiss since I had never felt this way for a female in school. This was giving me a lot of trouble because I had no idea what to say to a lady at the time.So I rushed to inform my best friend at school, my Wingman, about the staff room encounter and that I was eager to learn more about the female.
He was taken aback by the fact that someone caught my attention and vowed that he would try relentlessly to ensure that I got the girl.
"Let's hurry up and get out of here before another person comes in," I said hastily.
One of the beautiful things about high school back then was that if you did not have the balls to approach a lady and ask her out; you had 2go....2go will always be one of my favorite social media apps. My Wingman only had to create an account for me, and I chose the absurd moniker "Xboyolamide" in homage of a well-known musician at the time. I had a good reputation and had added most of my peers to my account.
As I made more friends and started speaking with others, it became easier for my account to start flying around school. I could not care less about those talks; all I needed was my crush's username, which I hoped she would grant.
We started our plan to get the girl by making more eye contact with her at school and she was my junior in high school, the only time I saw her was when she was strolling pass my class.
In class, I made a clean exchange with my classmates who were seated close the window. I moved from the middle of the class to the very edge, exactly the right angle to make eye contact with anyone moving outside.
First mission completed!!!!
She used to walk through my class a lot, and every time she did, I would look into her eyes because they were so lovely. It always felt like I was seeing her for the first time. Her walking step was always lovely, her uniform was tailored to her body shape, and her physical appearance was magnificent and exquisite, just the way I like it.
It was the pinnacle of my excellence for the love of my life.
That approach was pretty strong, and it worked because we had made eye contact multiple times. She smiled in most circumstances, possibly because she knew I was stalking her. I was astonished to see her come towards me one day after school, and I honestly acted like a chicken, asking my friend if she was walking towards me. She walked right past me and said, "Goodbye."
You should see how my head swelled; the outpouring of love and happiness within me was insane; I remained smiling till I arrived home, and I recall sleeping that night with flashbacks of the incident playing in my head. "This can't be happening," I reasoned.
The next day, I was fired up, and it took a little ginger on the part of my Wingman to approach her and ask some basic questions. So when I spotted her, I waved and walked up to her, looking sharp.
Me: Hi, How are you doing (stammering to even complete my words)
Her: I am good and you?
Me: I am good.
Me: My name is Kenechukwu
Her: I know who you are already
(My head got swollen at this point)
Me: I would love to know your name and talk more on 2go if you don't mind.
Her: Sure thing, my name is blessing. (She dropped her 2go username too)
I could not wait for school to end that day, so I dashed home and added her up, patiently waiting for my request to be accepted. She eventually accepted it, and a great relationship began.We'd make eye contact in school, wave and say quick hellos and goodbyes, then go home and talk for hours. We learned more about ourselves and became quite comfortable. It was obvious that I had fallen in love with her and that she was waiting for me to tell her.
I had gone back home to write a very short love poem that I was going to put in her bag after school. Trust me even William Shakespeare would be shocked to see the lines I had inside the poem. So It went according to plan,she read it when she got home and loved it. I came on 2go to see that she changed her status to "I love Kenechukwu"
My head spinned around, it was a great victory and the feeling was so uncontrollable. I have just gotten my green light and my first girlfriend 😭😭😭.. This was not all,she is so beautiful to behold too😭😭
Next day,we started our dating life. This was the most beautiful moments of my life. It was amazing as we shared our breaks together, we came to school very early so we could always see before devotion and after school we went back home together. We stayed close to each other, so we were also seeing at home during the weekends. She gave me my first kiss, her lips were so soft and smooth. It was a great feeling- I acted like a millipede someone poured salt on top.
She wrote write letters confessing her love for me and I would do same too. She would get angry and jealous when she sees me playing with my female friends 😂😂.. Thinking about it now,makes it look very funny to me,but it was such a great feeling.
We had to pay attention to the fact that every beginning has an end, we got to the point where I had gotten admission to college and she wasn't ready at the moment to be in college with me. So she had concerns about the status of our relationship because she felt it was a different environment which might mean alot for us. So we ended things mutually and stayed at close friends.
Although the breaking up came with salty tears on her side and mine too,but there was nothing we could do about it. It was an amazing story that shaped my idea about love and women until the real women erased those memories with "Breakfasts"😹😹
