Hello friends, still in the season of Easter, I wish you the best.
welcome to a new week and sure about a week with different editions of the @hivelearners prompt. This is week 57 edition 1.
Looks comprises our dressing and facial appearance. Just like me, I am the kind of person who always puts on a serious face. Oftentimes when people eventually get close to me, they always confess that they see me as rude not knowing I am friendly and nice. Same goes with dressing. Some uniforms are designed for certain professions just like the doctors or police. You don't need something to tell you this is a doctor when you see him in his lab coat and stethoscope that's what looks do.
Even before having conversations with anyone to know their attitude, looks might already give you at least 30% of them.
For me I really think looks are deceiving and nobody should be judged by that but that doesn't really need you to have a rough look.
Oftentimes I have seen the police come for young guys just because they have a rough look of dread, sagging or wearing some kind of clothes. Looking responsible is still the best advice for anyone. It makes you look good and saves you from a lot of problems.

So in my year 2 when we started doing department courses. The lecture was very strict. The first day he came into the class he sent over 3 students out. Only the first impression that day made almost every student scared of him. Even if you come late or make noise in another person's class when he is teaching you dare not make noise or come late to his class or else you won't be able to enter.
One day , he asked me to come to his office to see me. I was so scared and started thinking of possible things I must have done to anger him, who knows whether he wants to take my matric number and fail me. I had to tell my parents about it and they should pray for me because of fear.
When i got to his office that day with the Air conditioner i was still sweating 😂 that shows how tense i was. He asked me to sit down and started asking me my name, state of origin and I answered all of that. He started advising me that he likes how I present myself in class, dress simple and don't show up unlike other girls who know nothing but act like they do. He advised me like a father because he has a daughter like me. He also asked me about my difficulties in the course and that I can come ask him questions when I am confused. He told me he is not always strict like this before but students started taking him for granted that's why he chose to be this way. Since then he always checks out for me if I don't attend his classes. Some people have asked how I managed to get to be friends with a strict man like that. I just smile and tell them it's not actually how they think or how they see him.
So here's another event where I didn't like a girl. She was so rude and also proud of myself. The first day we met I didn't just like her vibes and I told other of my friends. He has this show-off attitude and also insults people who didn't get to her standard.
When I asked for more details about her I found out that her parents aren't that rich so how can she afford a luxurious lifestyle. I'm not saying she couldn't work but then we all knew that he wasn't going to do anything that would bring her money. She always said it was her boyfriend who provided her with all of that which we knew was all lies.
One day we heard a story that she went to steal a wig. She was caught and disgraced. When I heard the story I knew I was correct about her.
