In today life, we are living a rat race like situation, where we are running continuously, and in such hectic and stressful life, to give our mind a peace and make our body stress less the vacation are must for all of us. In India we do not have any long holiday but we have intermediate holidays as through out the year we celebrate many festivals, some of the festivals are related to the agriculture and some are having religious significant. When we were in school then we were got log holiday twice a year, first in the summer and second in the winter. But now when I am working as a professional their is no such provision for long holidays but yes almost every month we have one or two festival holidays. We are in the last week of year and in many countries the people are on vacation. Last week I called one of our supplier and asked so deliver some item in next week but he say sorry as their parent company which is located abroad is not working as they are having Christmas holidays. People are in Christmas celebration mood and waiting for the new year. Every one has their own plan to enter in the new year. We all should welcome the new year with joy and happiness so that we can expect the same happiness and joy in the next year also. I understand not very one is not party lover and people has their own likes and preferences. Its winter time here and weather has also changed a lot in last few days. We have rain form 25th to 27th December and which was the reason that the temperature ahs fall down. The mountains also experienced the snowfall and I love the barbeque in such lovely cold weather. If I have to ask how I want to celebrate the new year then either I will go for the barbeque with family and firends or may love to be in a dance party. I know both the options are completely different but I love them.
Every year our companies officer club organized a New Year Party and every member is invited for same with a nominal charges. The maximum expenditure are covered by the fund available in the club but still their is a nominal fee changes applicable. To get the ides of interesting people the club circulate a online form and every member is suppose to fill it and give the details. Initially I make my mind to join the club party as my child was more excited to go their and have fun with all their friends (she was more excited then anyone) and even I submitted the online form also in the morning. But unfortunately the plan was not went as planned as in the afternoon we received the message that the part has been canceled. Our former Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh was expired on 26th December so as a mark of respect to departed dignitary & former Prime Minister Sh Manmohan Singh the club decided to cancel the party. And I guess that was the right decision also.
Now I left with the other option which was barbeque. I shared the ides with my wife and she also agreed. In the past night we prepared the list of items required for the barbeque so that I can get all the items without missing anything. We have one small coal barbeque, I prefer the coal as it enhance the taste of item by adding the smoky flavor in the item. But to my bad we canceled that also because of the health issue. Actually my wife was nor feeling with and was very badly suffered from the cough and cold. The cough and cold was so savvier that she was not able to get proper sleep form last two nights. To give has a rest we decide that we will be celebrate the new year at home only watching the television. This does not look a great plan for as per the situation this is the best possible plane we can have.
