Dear Hive friends and Hive Learner Members,
Schooling or basic education is the basic right of all of us. This will introduce the self confidence within us. The primary education teach the basic and lead our way. In the past in Indian culture the schools are not just to teach the language or certain subjects they were made in such way they teach many important lesson of life like respect to other, yoga, medicine, religion, physical education etc.
If I see back in our time of schooling I am observed many changes. The first difference is the change in basic moto behind the education system itself. The prime moto of any school or educational institute shoulder be to teach the students but now days t more about the money and less about the education. The School fee of my kid, which is in LKG class, is more then the fee I was paying for my diploma collage. The heavy fee structure is a big burden over parents. The schools are become a big business and they are big source of making money for investors.
There are many things which we as student enjoy a lot but in todays current education system the students were not able to enjoy or think of. The education was for learning so that we can understand what is going around us but now days the students has so much burden if study they are taking it as a task and instead of understanding they are concentrating more on getting good marks. They are missing the playground which was a essential part of our routine when we were in schools. Physical activities are equally important and with healthy body we can do better. The environment was cooler and more healthier then the todays schools systems where in todays time the relationship between a student and teach is very professional but in old days they were more then that. The teachers were also our guide and help us to choose the right way.
Parent are equally responsible for today situation of education system. Every parent want that their kid should be first in class but we have to understand that their will be one topper only. Every kid or student is unique and has some talent but parents do not worthier to find it and to opposite to it, pressurized the kids to become a book worm. Today competitive environment is also one reason for it.
The lack of earning source in every field means students were left with some limited way to peruse their education. For example if any student has interest in the plants and want to study Botany. But their are not much opportunities in Botany and that is the reason the parents do not like that the kids should proceed for study of Botany. I respect their concern and in one way they are correct also. In today time the engineering and doctors are the best paying professions and most of the parents want their kid to be either engineer or doctor.
In todays world the kids has more facility which was not available to us. Internet is limitless source of knowledge. The video tutorials make it easy to understand the concepts. The mobile phones are available to everyone and they are filed with tons of feature that can help a student in many ways in used wisely.
The education system has changed a lot and need much improvement so that they should be more student and education oriented then the money minded.
