The technology has changed many things around us and internet is one of the game changing development of the era. Their was a time when the internet was not easily available to everyone and the TV and Radio were the major source of the News and Broadcasts. Now days if anyone has a smart phone and internet he is can easily access the media form all over the world or even can provide the digital content to the world on any topic. Their is a very fast growing sector in the market which used the social media like the facebook, Twtter, ticktok etc to target a niche or a specific audience. I am also following some of the content creator on the YouTube, twitter etc and like their content as their are of my interest. Most of time now days I am online on Hive blockchain only as I feel that the people are honest here with respect to their content and people also engage which raise the healthy environment for growth. Their are many community on Hive which encourage the organic engagement and reward people for same. This is never the case for the web2 platform which is more care about the owner of the platform itself.
For me a digital influencer is person who has target a specific audience or niche like gaming, travel, lifestyle, health, kitchen, gardening etc and of course they build their credibility and has a good number of followers also. They uses the one or more digital platform to reach their target audience and to publish their content online. Most of the influencer are earnign form the platform as reward share and also through the sponsored content or by posting the reviews of any product. They also get commission by selling the product the review. The very first requirement to be influencer is to find out the suitable niche which has value in the market and the influencer also should have the knowledge of the same topic or subject. The influencer has now day come up as a good profession and people are earnign a good amount form same. But the life of a influencer is not as easy it looks. A digital content creator is always busy and in search for his / her next article. They need a new video or post everyday for their audience as the consistence is must requirement. The audience is always waiting for the new content and if the content creator is lacking the same then this will be a negative for their growth.
In my view the life of influencer is not easy and most of them are even living a false life. Most of time they are in the virtual life and in this way are most of time they want to be in this virtual life itself. Some of them also used the wrong ways to get the followers and even pose some others content as their own. For what? just to get more followers, more views and more audience. Maintaining the image in the eyes of publics is very critical and challenging , a small mistake may leads to the end of the carrier so its not just making the videos its also making the image, reputation and maintaining the same.
If you ask me to become a influencer but to be honest its not my cup of tea. I am not a person who can be online always as I have some other responsibilities also. I am a full time salaried person and I am ok with that. I love to on Hive blockchain other then making videos on some web2 platform which is always has fear of censorship and the platform does not give the ownership to the users. The Hive is more suitable for me which is censorship resistive and we all users are the owner of the platform as this is community driven platform. I try to post every day here but its not like other web2 platforms where the user always in pressure and getting rewarded very less yes their are many who earned a lot but this is not the case for most of the users.
