We live in society and the reputation of ourselves and our family is one important part when we are part of some society. The good activities by us or by our parents or grandparents make us proud and also become the reason of our good reputation in the society. Think of a person who get well behavior and the respect by people living around them, it's always a proud moment for them. What if the parents or grandparents do opposite of it, the present generation also get disrespect or even miss behavior in society for the wrong things done by their elders in past. Even their was not involvement of them in those past bad activities or sins committed by their ancestors. Their may be highly chances that they may not be excited when they committed that. It's feel very bad but this the part of our life and the society where we live and this is how the society take it forward. It's not in our control where we will take birth or who will be our parents. Some born with the silver spoon and some born in poverty and also spend all their life in poverty only. It's the decision taken by the Almighty and nature not in our hand it control. But after the birth when we grow the action and decision taken my ourselves are our responsibility only.
This is very sad situation of our society and it's very unfortunate that many people get punishment by any means for the sins their ancestors committed but they were not part of it. Their are many stories of innocent people how face the wart if society for the crime they never done, to be honest it's very sad and heart broking. Some time their the situation become like that the nature and karma itself punish the persons for the sin and crime some by their parents and grandparents. I was reading a post where the author share the story of one family in their community which is famous for their wrong activities like snatching lands, stealing etc. Author shared how their children face the consequences as the women's not getting married as no one want to make relationship with such family and the young male also get separated by the other males in the community. I do not know what their may be chance that some or many of the children were never in the favor of the crime their family has committed in past or even not involved in such activities. But they are facing the consequences. Some people may call it karma but when do not have done anything wrong than how can be this because of the karma. Karama is what you will sow you will reap. Here someone else sow and the consequences were faced by someone else.
I do not agreed to the statement that the children should be punished for the sins committed by their parents. This is all wrong in my opinion. Someone may be questioned that if the good action of parents in past may become the reason for the good deed of the children then by they should not get punished for the sins. I am agreed if someone parents took the loan form a bank for the education of their child then its also responsibility of child also to pay back it to bank because its is specific to child and for their well being and necessity . We are transferring only the good part why not the bad part also get transferred. This all happened only if the kids want to carry the legacy of their parents. The legacy can be in good manner or may be in bad manner. Its now up to the children that which way they want to choose. In this case they also become the partner for any good or bad activity their parents do. In such cases they are responsible for the consequences also and Karma do the justice.
