Think of a situation in which you stuck in a place and more worst thing is you are in a new place, where no one knows you. You do not have any hope of help and feeling very lonely, helpless and hopeless. And suddenly someone comes and offer help to you without demanding anything is return, this is the act of kindness. In today's materialistic world where everyone is racing for the money their are very less chance of such action of kindness. People always ready to take but not to give other needed one or offer any type of help. The fact is that people now do not expect much form other the generous help and even if someone offered a helping hand we think twice that what is his moto behind the help and many time we denied taking such help form other because people have bad experience in the past. In this post I will shared two such experience where I closely feel the act of kindness and the opposite of that also.
When I completed my bachelor degree in mechanical trade and this was the time when I was desperately looking for the job. The expenses of degree course here are higher so I do not want to be more dependent on my parents as they have already invested a handsome money on my education. This was the time when I want to proof myself and looking for a job which provides me at least support for myself. I was not expecting that form the start of my carrier I will be able to support my family and at that time they were also not looking at me. My native place does not have much industries which provides good salary for the engineers as this area has good agriculture land and most of the people depends on the agricultural only. I was also sure that I have left the home to g the good job and if I want to progress in my life this is one most important step I have to take. The capital city and near by area of capital city has good industry and good opportunities for the engineers. So I was thinking of moving to Gurugram which is near to capital city and is know for some of the good name company. Those industries also established good vendors base also around them so if you do not get job in the main company their are good chance you will get job with nay of their vendor.
The main hurdles was the place to live their, as this was a big city where I was not knowing much people. Some of my class mates were already their but they were also new to that place and most of them depends on other people know to them. I was in all those confusions, things of some solution. One day I received a call form one of my senior for collage. I come to know that he was also in Gurgaon and working their. That give a hope and when I share with him my problem he immediately offer and told me not to worry and come to their place. He was living in a rented home along with two of his friends (one of the was another senior form college). They were sharing the room rent and food expenses at the end of the month. For the whole month (actually I reached their in between the month) I was searching for the job. At the end of the month when they do the final calculation of the expenses I asked for share also. I was surprised when they told me that I have to pay nothing. I asked how and why? The answer was when you will get your first salary then only we will share the expenses with me. That was so generous act of them all three. Next month I also got job and from next month onwards they start dividing the expenses between four persons including me.
My father was a very kind person and always ready to help others if he have sufficient resources. Some time we also do not knowing of his such noble work. I recalled one incident which was happened with him and my mother told be later. He was coming form city on his motorcycle. On the way one old lady ask him if he can drop her to the next village which was on his way to home. She was a old lady and my father think that it will be difficult for her to walk long so he offered help. he lady was sitting on the rear seat. After completing 2 or 3 kilometer she fall form the running motorcycle when my father was taking a turn,. Fortunately the speed was very low because of the turn and she does not get any major injurie and my father was also safe. My father asked her if she is ok but surprise was waiting for him. The lady start crying and act like she has some injurie in her leg and start demanding the money for the treatment. My father immediately understand the situation and also understand that the lady was doing drama only. By that time other passing by people also start gathering. My father tell them the whole story and they all also understand the whole situation nd the truth. They ask my father to leave and took the lady to hospital.
