In today's time we all are running and always find the shortage of time. This is the story if everyone of us including the teenagers and kids also. When we were kids I know my parents always spare time for us and we all spend good time and those memories are still in our mind. In the evening during the dinner time all all brothers sit together along with our parents to have dinner. This is the time when we all eat and chat, share our day spend and our plans. My mother mostly prepare the food for us and one of us help them with arranging the cup and plates. Even my mother eat at then end when we all finished but she was always part of our dinner as she sever the dinner in warm condition itself. We in India preferred serve the meal when it's warm. Now days this all is in our memories only as no one has the time to sit together, people living in the same house do not share or chat with each other and prefer to be online on social media. Fortunately when it's come to dinner time we still follow the same rutine.
My wife is one who prepare the food for family and she love the cooking. Eating out is occasional so mostly we have dinner at home only. I mostly help my wife with arranging the utensils and preparing the salad is also my responsibility. We, me, my wife and our kids all have dinner together and if my mother is visiting us then she also joined us. But this is not the case with our grand mother, she is in old age and we mostly sever her at first place. The rutine timing is very important for her, so many time it's not maching with our timing, so keeping that in mind we sever her early. She also do not mind but we make sure one of us must be sitting with her at that time.
In many home's nowadays the people do not sit together even for some time in a day and give the priority to the other things like chit chat on internet or social media. Money and personal priorities become the prime and people trying to find the peace and entertainment over internet. I still remember those old days. When I joined the collage thatbwas the time when I got seprated for my family. I used to visit home weekly or biweekly and after finishing the collage I got the job and that time the frequency of visiting home for droped. Before me marriage I use to live in the city on sharing basis, we all were unmarried and we took a house in rent. We all were working in diffrent companies but in the evening we all sit together for dinner. If someone got late we use to wait for him. This also was the time when we share our day spend and office chats. This was the time when we use to play our favourite TV shows. We all love the commedy so mostly some comedy show we use to play, the online video platform were not exist other then youtube at that time, so we were depending on the cable TV. This was the time when we feel ourselves free for office stress and spend some quality time, having fun.
I used to feel similar way when I with my family sit other for dinner and watch some of our favourite shows or chat with each other.
