Dear Hive Friend and Hive Learner Members,
If we look back then it looks like the time is flying. I kid is six year old now and I would not realize how fast the times passes and she grown up. This does not means I am not taking care of her but when I look at old phots in my phone then It make me surprise some time how she is changed now form a small baby to a growing kid. We as a parents has responsibilities towards our kids and it starts form even before the birth of child. The mothers kept the baby in her womb for nine months so she take care of baby even before he come into the world.
We as a parents take acre of our kids and want to do even thing which make him or her comfortable, and most of us follow the same. But some time the pampering or making a kid more comfortable also create problem in the life when they grew up. How a kid will behave in the society, how a kid think it all depends on the environment around him in which is grew up. Some time parents become much more cautious and that also effect the mental and physical health of a kid. Excess pampering and not let the kids take some basic decision become the season of less confidence in a kid in future. This also leads to some more mental issues like not to accept the no or a stubborn nature are such conditions.
I am a father of one kid @gurseerat (she is also on hive, show some love to her) and I always try to be treat her nicely so tat she should not make a image of a terrible father in her mind. I try to make her free and learn things around us and I also say most of her demands (if they are necessary) and in similar way she also says yes to me whenever I asked something to her. She is gradually learning how the things works around us, and in this process she also learning which is good and which is bad and how good and bad a life could be. We all learn form experience and everyday is learning day. Let me share one experience for my life, one of my elder cousin ha two kids, both has the age difference of approximately 3 years. The elder cleared the exam after the 5th grade and get admission into good boarding school. The younger was also get admission into good school near to they home. I observed some major behaviors changes in both of them when I meet after then completed the schooling. The elder was very systematic and well planned and I am sure this is because of the strict schedule they follow in the boarding school. He do the self study and also has the habit of doing the social works and community work. He use to woke up early and first activity he do is fold hid bedding and place it at proper place. His all activities are what he learned when he was away form the family and in many instances of life during the schooling itself he must be taking decision (which are under his power of course). All of this shape his behavior and made him what he is now.
No doubt its very essential and basic need for the kid that someone should guide him so that he or she can understand the world around us in better way, so that he can understand the basic of life, but al of this should be with some freedom give to them which give then the chance to learn for their mistakes also. If parents interfere in kid's life (yes that is after some age limit), their are height chances that the kids may face lots if problem when they grow up. They must learn face the challenges in the life then only they will be strong enough to face the challenges they will come across during the professional life. Grown Kids depending on parents more then their self means their are higher chances that they will seeking help of others in the future and this is suppress their skills. Dependent on others also means their are higher chances the other will l use them for their own benefits and that will make their survival more difficult in todays competitive environment.
