Dear Hive friend and Hive Learner Memebers,
Engagement is crucial for success on the Hive blockchain, a revolutionary web3 social media platform that allows users to earn rewards. Interaction with others is essential on this social media platform. Initially, I was only posting and reading but realized that I was lacking in comments on other users' posts. After some time, I began to interact with other users. However, in recent months, due to real-life commitments, I have been extremely busy and have been posting less frequently. This was mainly due to limited spare time after work.
A few months ago, I discovered the Hive Learner community, which is highly active and features weekly topics for verified members to participate in. Here, I once again learned the importance of engagement. Every member is encouraged to show support for other participants by reading their posts, leaving meaningful comments, and potentially upvoting them. This strategy effectively promotes participation and interaction within the community, creating a healthy environment.
Despite being busy in recent months, I made an effort to be active in the community. However, my actions were not sufficient. One day, @bruno-kema Moderator of Hive Learners community commented that I should be more active and engage with other community members by reading and commenting on their work. I realized my mistake and decided to rectify it.
It is important to note that I had been reading the content of other community members, finding it enjoyable and encouraging for my own blockchain posts. It is a great way to improve my writing skills. Since receiving that comment about my lack of engagement, I have committed to reading and commenting on at least three posts before posting anything myself in the community. I am trying to read and comment on five posts, but three is the minimum goal.
I took the comment in a positive way and learned from my mistake. It has been a valuable learning experience for me.
Engagement is Important
Engagement is one of the important aspect of the Hive Blockchain. But many people does not realize, I have seen many users just posting everyday but they goes to other posts very rarely. The just want to be speaker not the audience. Imagine a place where everyone wants to be speaks and no one left to listen to the words of speaker. Reading or listening to other give us the opportunity to understand the view point of other users. This is the great strategy to grow our self and improve the skills. Engagement is not just for earning rewards it is more then that, I think it is beyond the getting rewarded - it is building relationship on blockchain.
Reading and commenting on other peoples post is important and equally important is to reply the comments we received on our own pots. No replying to the comments make other feel insulting.
There are some more benefits of engaging with other users, it gives us the opportunity to ask question and clear our doubts for other experience users on hive it also give us the chance for correcting ourselves also. Every user on Hive Blockchain must understand that if they neglect the importance of engagement their are good chance that the will get lost even you posy quality content.
Active engagement not only draws attention to our own posts but also enhances our reputation within the Hive community. When users with high reputations engage with our content, it contributes to bolstering our own reputation. Thus, engagement becomes integral to reputation enhancement. This is the only way to improve your reputation.
Remember, engagement is the key to building a robust network and ensuring a fulfilling experience on the Hive Blockchain. Keep engaging to cultivate meaningful connections and unlock the platform's full potential.
