Hello all Hive friend
In today's fast-paced world, time seems to be flying by at an incredible speed. It's hard to believe that we are already in the last month of the year, with almost half of it already gone. When I reflect on the past, it feels like only a short amount of time has passed. The previous year was particularly demanding, especially the last three months which were filled with intense work pressure. My life has become so busy that I haven't been able to actively participate on the beloved Hive blockchain, despite being a member for over five years. There was hardly a day when I didn't visit and interact with others, but the last two to three months have been so hectic that I haven't been able to make a single post or leave comments on other people's posts. I hope the situation improves in the upcoming year, allowing me to be more active in the community once again.
At the beginning of the year, I set some goals for myself. Throughout the year, I came close to achieving some of them, but unfortunately, due to my absence from the Hive blockchain, I have missed them by a small margin. I had high hopes of reaching the Dolphin status, but since I haven't been posting for a while, I didn't earn anything from my posts. Although I already have 4917 Hive Power, I need approximately 100 Hive to reach my target. I am back now and doing my best to be active. However, it seems like I will have to resort to plan B to achieve my goal. Fortunately, I have some HBD in liquid form that I can convert into Hive Power if necessary. Given the current situation, plan B seems to be the only option. Hopefully on 1st January 2024 during the #HPUD will be powerup and achieve the target.
Speaking of personal changes in my life, I'd like to highlight that I've successfully managed to reduce my sugar intake. Despite my fondness for tea and sweets, I took this step as my sugar levels were nearing the borderline. I've modified my tea routine by adding only a small amount of sugar, and I indulge in sweets only on rare occasions. Prioritizing my health, I also decided to incorporate daily walks into my routine.
At the beginning of the month, I maintained a consistent schedule of at least half an hour of walking each day. However, the demands of work and official commitments later posed challenges to my routine. Nevertheless, I find morning walks quite enjoyable as they bring a sense of refreshment to both body and mind.
Embarking on positive habits isn't a straightforward journey; it demands more effort and adjustments within our lifestyle than we might initially anticipate. I am committed to maintaining habits that are beneficial for my health.
On the professional front, I experienced a significant change last year. I requested a transfer closer to my native place, a move that brought both advantages and challenges. In my previous unit, where I had spent nearly a decade, I was well-known by everyone in the office and factory. However, at the new location, I had to establish my presence and build my professional image from scratch.
Adding to the challenge, the product line at the new place was entirely different, requiring a learning curve. Simultaneously, I had to meet the expectations set by the management. Fortunately, a project aligned with my skills emerged, providing an opportunity for me to prove myself. The project, while demanding, involved a considerable amount of traveling, which I managed to handle effectively.
I would describe the past year as a blend of experiences for me. On the positive side, I am now located near my native place, a significant achievement, and I am very close to reaching my Hive goals for the year. On the flip side, the workload was intense, and I had to travel extensively throughout the year. Nevertheless, I express gratitude to God for everything I have encountered and achieved.
