I don't know you guys, but I always find an experience you will need to try at least once. My list keeps growing for sure and every time that I accomplish something, I check it in my mind checklist. I remember one TV show that I forgot the name where a guy and a girl discover that the world is ending so they start trying to accomplish many things in their checklists of experiences to try. In the end, we all have something like that with our wishes, but most of them we don't accomplish, but for sure some of them are simply to accomplish. I will talk a bit the things that I already experienced and things that I didn't.
Many of the experiences in my checklist that I think everyone should try, is associated with travel experiences. I am from South America, so there were and still, there are places that I think you should try to visit at least once. The first place is the Iguaçu Falls in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazilian border with Paraguay and Argentina. This triple-border is beautiful and the falls are big and amazing. It is something that I never saw in my life.
In Argentina, I went South, almost at the end of the continent to a city called El Calafate. there I saw Perito Moreno Glacier, which is 250 km2 of pure ice, the third biggest world freshwater reserve in the world. That amazing chunk of ice is amazing. I confess that when I first saw it I was very excited and I almost cried with that beauty. Natural wonders like that always amaze me. Another place that I still couldn't go to is Machu Pichu in Peru, which is probably one of the places that contains one of the oldest registries of human history.
I think also that trying different foods at least one time can be something special. Everything I need to try one time at least. I tried once Escargot, which is a cooked snail, a French delicacy. I need to try and I think everyone has curiosity. Well, I hated it. But I tried other things that some people should think that is nasty, like raw oysters, which I found delicious, especially when you add drops of lime on top of it.
Personal experiences that are unique and difficult to achieve in your routine are usually those that we add to these checklists. In my checklist, I had also the observation of Aurora Borealis and I could see it here from the house that I currently live in. But since I have already observed so many times, it is becoming the "new normal". Probably I am adding other exotic experiences that I would love to experience before I die, such as visiting Antarctica. It was my dream for a long time, but since it is difficult to go as a tourist, I am not sure if I am going to accomplish that.
Não sei vocês, mas sempre encontro uma experiência que vocês precisam tentar pelo menos uma vez. Minha lista continua crescendo, com certeza, e toda vez que realizo algo, verifico na minha lista de verificação mental. Lembro-me de um programa de TV cujo nome esqueci, onde um cara e uma garota descobrem que o mundo está acabando, então eles começam a tentar realizar muitas coisas em suas listas de verificação de experiências para tentar. No final, todos nós temos algo assim com nossos desejos, mas a maioria deles não realizamos, mas com certeza alguns deles são simplesmente para realizar. Vou falar um pouco sobre as coisas que já experimentei e as que não experimentei.
Muitas das experiências na minha lista de verificação que acho que todos deveriam tentar estão associadas a experiências de viagem. Sou da América do Sul, então houve e ainda há lugares que acho que você deveria tentar visitar pelo menos uma vez. O primeiro lugar são as Cataratas do Iguaçu, em Foz do Iguaçu, fronteira do Brasil com o Paraguai e a Argentina. Essa tríplice fronteira é linda e as quedas são grandes e incríveis. É algo que eu nunca vi na minha vida.
Na Argentina, fui para o sul, quase no fim do continente, para uma cidade chamada El Calafate. Confesso que quando o vi pela primeira vez fiquei muito emocionado e quase chorei com aquela beleza. Maravilhas naturais como essa sempre me surpreendem. Outro lugar que ainda não consegui ir é Machu Pichu, no Peru, que provavelmente é um dos lugares que contém um dos registros mais antigos da história da humanidade.
Acho também que experimentar comidas diferentes pelo menos uma vez pode ser algo especial. Tudo o que preciso experimentar pelo menos uma vez. Experimentei uma vez o Escargot, que é um caracol cozido, uma iguaria francesa. Preciso tentar e acho que todo mundo tem curiosidade. Bem, eu odiei. Mas tentei outras coisas que algumas pessoas devem achar nojentas, como ostras cruas, que achei deliciosas, especialmente quando você adiciona gotas de limão por cima.
Experiências pessoais que são únicas e difíceis de alcançar na sua rotina são geralmente aquelas que adicionamos a essas listas de verificação. Na minha lista de verificação, eu também tinha a observação da Aurora Boreal e pude vê-la aqui da casa em que moro atualmente. Mas como já observei tantas vezes, está se tornando o "novo normal". Provavelmente estou adicionando outras experiências exóticas que adoraria vivenciar antes de morrer, como visitar a Antártida. Era meu sonho há muito tempo, mas como é difícil ir como turista, não tenho certeza se vou conseguir.
