Today after a long time i have decided to make mandala art that i used to love the most beforw few months.
I don't is it normal for everyone to get bored easily or it's just me who gets bored easily and stop doing things that I'm bored of. In last few months i have tried alot for doing mandala art again, but whenever i tried making this i just felt myself already so tired and i used to end up spoiling my own art piece because of my tired nature.
Isn't it something i need to tackle? I have tried different things to change my nature of getting bored easily but it's something i can't change..., but for bringing a change to your life, it's important to push yourself hard for that change.
So today I'm going to give another try to mandala art. Just to get my interest back in mandala.
Materials
- Sketchbook
- Black Pointer
- Lead pencil
- Pointer Colors
- Compass
- Scale
Procedure
I have started making the mandala art by first making the mandala grid and for making the grid i have first made different lines with the help of scale. Here we can also use a geometry D, for accurate lines but i have lost mine in shifting process so i have made lines with scale.
After that i have used compass to make circles around the midpoint of the lines. I have made 13 lines with distance of 0.5 cm each.
After finishing the grid i have started making mandala patterns on the grid to make beautiful design.
There are different patterns for filling mandala grid and i was also making the random things that was coming to my mind.
It's not that Mandala Art doesn't have pre-existing patterns. There are some patterns that are very basic and everyone uses them in their art, but there are some patterns that an artist keeps changing according to their own needs while creating their art, and I have also done something similar in my art.
And then i have kept making the patterns untill i have finished the grid with my designs.
And the final step was to erase the grid made with pencil. Just try to be careful because sometimes your pen's ink isn't fully dried and using eraser on wet ink can create a mess on your drawing.
After finishing the art i realized that it would be fun if I'll add some colors to my mandala art. So i have used purple and blue to give a little colorful touch to my art.
And here's the final results 👇
That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon bye bye 😁 👋
