Good day everyone, it has been a week filled with new hope.
At one point or the other, we come in contact with situations that will require us to act immediately or something will be out of place or we will be seen as being human because of a carefree attitude.
Severally I have seen myself in such situations and I had to act quickly. When it comes to disputes that arise around me, I act willing especially if it does not involve exchanging blows. I know someone will laugh at me for this, I don't joke with my head ooo... My Mommy had warned us on several occasions not to run into fights or to say we want to go and check. There is this idiom in my place that it is because I want to see it all that bullet failed on monkey's head. Some people are used to running out to go and check on fights. So many have lost their lives as a result of that.
What Happened
My landlord's daughter had a dispute with a tenant because of yogurt. She went to buy yogurt from the tenant and she told her that she will not pay for charcoal until after some time, they know how it all started and the lady was offended and didn't buy the yogurt again. The tenant was offended too and asked that their light be disconnected. Later that afternoon the children started playing with the light and I came and spoke with them to stop it because they are not the only ones making use of the light.
What I Did
I waited for them to leave the house and I went to speak to her, I made her understand that the lady is a stammer and any little thing does offend them. I also made her understand that the matter is not rich enough to make her disconnect her light. She reasoned with me and left the matter be.
Not too long from then, they started communicating and joking as usual. Any discussion made in a hurry or anger will always have a K-leg. Sometimes I will joking tell her that her light will be disconnected and we will smile over it.
So in that situation, I served as a mediator between both parties though the lady was not aware of the role I played.
