Hive Learners is at it again. I do appreciate for guiding us through this community. I glad to be part of this week seven edition two writing. This time I am to talk about my favourite childhood game. To be part of this contest, you can visit this post.
Children are known to have less things boarding them what they do often is to eat, play, sleep and other relevant things to them. While I was growing up with my siblings we engaged in a lot of play both rough and gentle plays. I used to play so roughly I can attribute this to the fact that I have two elder brothers as we know that boys don't always play gently hmmm. I don't know if I will say I then played more than them or not this to the point that I was almost distracted in my school days... Don't think that oooo, am very serious now hahahaha.
My favourite game as a child was playing with old tyre. How we do this play was that we stay on a straight line everyone with his own tyre, and we set and race. One person will say on your mass set go. With a stick, you control the tyre as you run along. The first to get to the finishing line is the winner. Always we target when my mother was off from home as she does not always come home on time, we play till it is dark especially during weekends because working days we go to school and from school to the lesson so we return very late and we have to make preparations for the next day.
Now I am a Momma, when my son learnt to run 🏃 and he saw the children in my compound play with tyres, I just remembered my good young days. When he desired to play with them I allow him to do so because it will also form a story for him tomorrow. .
Children have so much energy within them and they always seek for a lovely opportunity to express themselves as parents or parents to be it is good to allow them because by trying many things they will come to learn and even develop carrier from the many things they have seen and touched.
