Drugs are meant to be used in advancing the health of the people. Today, men have turned to using it for different purposes which is not favourable to the system, this is while countries have gone so far I to making different drug rules just to make sure the usage is drugs is regulated.
Funny enough, humans develop alternative ways to makes use of these drugs which at the end lands us into untold troubles. The complexity of this matter is sure that in most cases the people's who makes these laws are the ones where nare the drug Barron's themselves 🫢. When they are caught in anyway they always have a ways of using the money they've made in this process to free themselves. In another way to, they have boys who they have gainfully employed that distribute these drugs for them, if in any way these guys are caught and are preparing to face the law, other from above will insist that they are freed. This is the same case with the issue of insecurity in my country. This kind of thing prevails mostly in my country. I talk mostly of my country because this is my root and I know how things roles here.
Few years back while I was still having my shop, there was this chemist that was close by. Almost every month, NDLEA comes for patrols so a times you find out that he locks his shop and run for his dear life because he knows that when they come they must look for a fault which will make him spend days in their custody and he will spend much money at the end.
Coming down to me, I have had several experience with wrong usage of drugs. It is said that every woman or mother is a doctor. Thinking about this saying, I found that because they have been through the process, so when another mother is faced with a challenge, they prefer solution based on what they have been through. This we tend to forget that situations are not the same, this is where the place of visiting the health system for a professional check up is needed before the priscribtion.
I have my husband's nephew staying with me, long before he came his other told me that he was diagnosed of Asthmatic condition. I felt for the boy because though I have not stayed with one before but I have heard a lot about them. Ewo! Finally when he arrived my house I saw the real thing, the first night I wasn't able to sleep. Immediately it was morning we called the Mom and she told us the drugs to get for him. As I tried following this situation, I kept close contact with the mother and she told me the situation don't use to stay so long while using the drugs, but to my surprise one month down the line this boy kept using this drugs and I lost my peace. Not only that he kept complaining of one thing or the other. In this situation I insisted for a Lab test, when we went for this test it was heart breaking, he was down with malaria and thyphoid which was chronic. Immediately we commenced the treatment and he was fine, just about ten days later the sythomes came again and this time stronger than before. This time I was more confused than before, I called a friend who is a medical personnel and she gave her prescription and I also called my brother a pharmacist, so I combined the two. Shortly, the Lab Scientist came and just decided to go over for the test again. Malaria and thyphoid was discovered and this time warm was just so much. I remember that the Mom told me that it's been long he was dewormed. It wasn't easy on me but we just spent that big money for his health to be stabilized.
Till date this boy is doing well, the Lab Scientist insisted that this boy doesn't have that illness called Asthma. His reason being that both sickness have similar sythomes and it takes a careful examination to be able to dictate them.
Wrong priscribtion can land someone to serious trouble even death at the long run. Now, I am doing my best to take him through several confession. One thing we noticed is that he is allergic to some things so we try our best to avoid them so he won't get down again.
My recommendation is for everyone to go for medical examination before taking any medication because it will save use from several trouble now and in the future.
