Greetings to all of us who have been in our beloved community, today I am back in front of my eyes to share my story in high school when I got into trouble for picking limes. First of all I would like to thank the Hive Learners community for giving me the opportunity to enter a very challenging contest this week.
As we know this week is the 13th week of the first edition of the contest in this beloved community and in the last few weeks many have shown their writing skills and it really made me want to join like the others.
The contest in this third edition is about Back to High School 
Adolescence is always surrounded by ups and downs because those times are of course high school and many things happened that made all the events in high school a pleasure and a valuable experience in our lives and many of us adults when reminiscing about high school want to come back again there to enjoy happy moments with friends at that time and of course very fun.
In my opinion, high school was a very valuable time in my life and I am very grateful to be in high school, even though the fun that happened at that time was the problems that I experienced which made me almost expelled from high school. That's when I really realized that being naughty is not good and that's when I started changing the way I got along.
The problem I had when I was in high school was picking limes, the limes belonged to the person who owned the house next to the school at that time, my friends and I picked limes almost every day with the aim of eating them, it sounds crazy now but at that time eating limes with friends is the most fun thing even though it certainly feels like you have to close your eyes while eating it.
Well the days kept changing until one day the lime owner realized that his lime was always decreasing and of course from that moment the lime owner investigated why his lime was always decreasing until one day my friends and I were caught off guard. was picking limes and we were reported to the principal until my friends and I were called to a special room to be held accountable for what we had done.
From what I did with my friends I thought it was not a big problem but what I thought was certainly wrong and the problem was taken seriously by the lime owner until we were asked to pay a very large amount of cash and Of course I and my friends didn't have the money to pay for it until my parents were called to the school to clarify the case.
Towards after my parents came to school I don't know how the problem was solved but the problem is always there and many of my friends think of me as a thief and of course I was looked down upon by some friends in high school and I am really frustrated over this. that incident, at that time I was just sitting in the 3rd semester of high school, the days always change views from friends who don't like me.
With that incident I thought about changing schools because I can't stand bad words from friends around me, but at that time I realized that what I was doing was wrong but with that incident it didn't mean I had to leave school and I was patient until a whole year until the second year after that incident, the friends around me who said bad things to me started to stop saying bad things to me because after the incident that made me feel down, I started to change the way I socialized, which I previously hung out with bad people. after that I started hanging out with some rule-abiding people.
After I changed relationships, many of my friends often said things that were not good to me until they finally joined me too, considering that at that time my achievement also started to increase because after I joined several people who obeyed the rules I also focused on my eyes. the lessons applied at school so that I get pretty good achievements every semester even though I am not in the first rank but at least I am in the top 10 among other students and it really makes everyone around me proud of my achievements.
With the good achievements that I got in high school until I got a special invitation to a college in my area where I registered for college for free and took the major I wanted at the college until now I graduated from college with a satisfactory GPA too.
The incident that happened to me as a result of stealing limes put me down for a few months in high school and I thought about changing schools at the time but with a change in my mindset I was able to really turn a dreary situation into a rosy one. Even though at first many people did not like to see me until that person liked every achievement that I got.
Honestly at that time I wasn't sure about the changes I made but with my belief to get adequate results and that made me proud and also made my parents smile again with the good achievements I got in high school even though previously my parents were disappointed with me but with intention and effort to change for the better then it happened as expected.
