Nowadays family size is becoming smaller than how it used to be back then and there's a lot of reasons and it ain't bad at all.
We're living in a different time than most who lived in last couple of decades and family is still the strongest relationship and bond you can ever get in this life.
The thing that matters is what makes that small or large families better or worse.
An ideal Family Size in this Era
There's a decline in birth rate in many countries and family size is becoming less and less as we're progressing.
Some people say we need increase in birth rate etc
But as of today It entirely depends on how much you're making and how responsible you're like
The more you earn, the more easily you can provide and it makes easier to raise a large family but here in some underdeveloped countries in Asia - people don't earn that much yet they've 5-6 children and almost everyone in that family struggles with one or other thing
In this era family planning is a must thing to stay above the poverty line and for a better future of kids and your own.
I'd say 3 to 4 kids, a wife makes a good family
Parents and siblings are always going to be your family and priorities remains same no matter if you're married.. no one can replace parents, siblings
That side of family size ain't mine or your concern.
When we're responsible for our own future, better to worry about how big of a family you want.
And it's mutual understanding bw wife and you that makes easy to plan a family... If she agrees for 3 kids, alright I'm all for it.. more the merrier but only if she wants.
As of now my family size is
I don't think my family size is big enough, it's just my mother.. me and my two brothers.
I kinda wish we had a sister but nevermind.. a small and loving family is all I wanted and mother, brothers are enough for me.

The best thing about multiple brothers is that you can rely on each other.. like I'm leaving my country and moving somewhere else to make my future than my brother's are back in home to take care of everything
Since we don't have sister yet we help mom with everything and understand each other.
And that's one reason I'd wish for two son's and one daughter in the future when it's the right time so no one have to feel something is missing.
The most important part for me will always be becoming a good father, the one thing i never had, so that hard times just makes your perspective clear and helps you become a better person.
Wrapping Up...
In the end it's the love and bond that matters in the family, doesn't matter how big or small it is: you can only live happy when the bonding is strong and there's unity.
