I've always kept myself far away from these politics... When I see a politician, The voice echoes in my head and it says "don't believe in his lies". I'd or I might not vote in this election because I've my own reasons and there's a lot of time when I've been engaged with a political discussion with someone it always takes an interesting turn and some people say "oh, so will you pursue a career as a politician?".
Let's go bit more in details to see the whole situation.
The Political Parties: Downfall of Country
In our country Pak, we have like three major parties PP, PMLN and PTI.. In my opinion, all of these are corrupt in every single department and position.
These parties have ruled country for over 77 years now since independence.. not a single time when any of the elected prime minister (PM) completed it's 5 year regime.. conspiracy is, it's the army that had ruled all these years and there's nothing like democracy.

But well all these years one of these parties have the power to do something better yet no one did.
These politicians have made decisions that did worst to country, took loans > more loans and more loans.. It will be surprising if those loans get paid in next 100 years.
Our local currency has lost its value by like 80% and inflation is at its peak and in next few months they're going to spend hundreds of millions on election.
Our country population is approx 25 crores, RS 4,700 crores is the cost of this coming elections
And surprisingly only 47% people do cast their vote and all these resources and our own tax money being burnt like it's nothing.
Politicians are in for the Money
We heard "I'm in it for the tech" a lot of time in crypto but when I hear about a politician, It's like they're in it for the money and that's their business.
All fine and good if these politicians start spending their own wealth on their election campaigns instead of tax money.

All fine if these politicians declare their assets and prove how they bought "$100m mansion while their net worth is $1m".
All these red flags and the biggest one is when these politicians start bringing their children like I've looted enough and now it's your turn, leaving some legacy behind used to be a thing in past, now is a myth.
Arguing in a Pointless Politics discussion
I've been in such discussion where couple of people are talking politics and at some point people even start to abuse each other for not agreeing with their opinion and supporting other party.

Everytime I've been in such discussion the only thing I ask them and never got a reply is "tell me if those politicians are going to pay your bills, your rents" nah? So, go make that money and pay those taxes imposed by them.
I can never think of pursuing politics as a career, not in this life.. never in the other one. All I've saw these politicians is lying the whole time.
Wrapping Up...
In the end everytime when election is near these politicians start to respect people like they're nothing (yes, nothing without your vote).. so, all they use is same old tactics.. selling you promises like I'll create this many jobs and many development etc for poor's and than when they're in power we get not even 50% of that.
After all these reasons I hope you get it why politics is something too controversial and dirty... I wish people do realize and choose the person they vote much more wisely this time.
