we get disappointed everytime after seeing country fiat currency depreciating, unemployment increasing and Government spending priorities.
The question of where to spend or not to spend applies to the government as it impacts our future.
As a citizen of a developing country, there are certain expectations regarding this particular topic that I will discuss ahead.
Where Government is Spending Our Money Vs Where our Tax Money should Go
Our country is going through worst economic situation where inflation is peaking at the moment meanwhile throughout Years until now the way of government spending isn't changed or improved.
They're spending more money on;
1. Political Compaigns
Running political Compaigns from our tax money is something Government never miss and sadly no one actually cares as people are desperately want to prove their leader is right and the other one is wrong.
So, election is supposed to happen soon this year and once again more Compaigns will be run, more promises will be made again to Get votes.
This way I think our tax money isn't something used wisely. It can be spent well on something else.
2. Defense of Country
Our government allocate more budget for army than total budget for People. Defense of country does matter but in my point of view 60-70% budget for this one single thing doesn't make any sense.
Almost every other civilian think this is the worst use of our tax money in 21st century.
Some Good examples of tax money set by Government I've seen is;
3. Spending Money in Transport Sector
In last few Years we've now Got a Good transport facility as Gov built more metro station and provided buses in different cities.
So, when it comes to local transport facility it is kind of Good and become more better.
Recently, in my area there's a metro station project in construction by Government for citizen and seeing it's progress everyday quite fast which gives you comfort that your tax money is spent on us.
4. Roads or Highway's
In a developing country it is Good to see priorities of Government is building certain things in cities so people can live a better life.
Few years back Roads were kind of worst in village and also in some areas within city but when I visited my village after years
This is the change I've seen and realized at least there's some progress and Good use of our Tax money.
Our Tax Money should Go
In E-commerce, Latest Technology and creating more opportunities for everyone where Government is quite Old school.
While the world is normalizing Bitcoin payments we don't have PayPal yet and more expensive ways of funds transfer internationally.
So, my opinion is Government should come out from going against the technology like ban culture and start embracing it for our present and future generations.
