Have you ever thought of living a life without social media in this digital world? I am confident that you never thought of such a thing. Social media has become a part and parcel of our daily life, and it's natural not to imagine such a life. I am such a person who doesn't love to spend too much time on social media, but thinking about life without social media is also impossible for me because I can't deny the importance of social media, and for various purposes, I need to use it.
At the present time, the influence of social media is so powerful that it is capable enough to shake the position of a government if it can be used properly. A post or a comment can create a significant impact depending on the topic and the situation.
In social media, we are allowed to share our thoughts, and we can share anything because we have the freedom of speech. Nobody has the power to restrict us unless we violate the rules of the social platform. Every human has unique thoughts, and naturally, some thoughts conflict with others. Controversy can also occur, but as long as it's healthy, it's good, but after crossing a limit, it can bring disaster.
Social media is a kind of blessing for most of us. In the past, sharing our opinions was very difficult, especially for introverted people, but now everyone is allowed to share their opinions and thoughts through social media. In fact, now it's possible to share thoughts without revealing the identity of the author. Such a feature can be used for sharing sensitive information, and I think it's hard to track the author in such a case.
But sometimes, who shares something that can defame an academic institution? Some things may happen with a company from the side of an employee. In most cases, academic students get punished by the authority, and in the case of a company or organization, the employee gets fired. Do you think it's the right thing to do? What's your opinion?
Let's talk about the academic institution. I think academic institutions do not have the power to control the actions of students when they are outside the boundaries of the institution. Students have nothing to do with academic institutions unless they are wearing the institution's uniform. So when a student shares something on social media, it has nothing to do with academic institutions unless they mention the name of the institution. If a student mentions the name of the institution, then it should be considered what the student said in the post or comment. If a post shares real information, I think it's ok to share it; it doesn't matter if it damages the reputation. I can share an example of mine. In my university life, several times I was criticized for various reasons, and I knew it could damage the reputation of the university, but I did it because revealing the truth is important to society, and many other students also feel the same. We criticized one of the top universities as students of the university because we felt that whatever was happening was not right. It was a way of protest and a means of letting the university authorities know that we are not their puppets, and we are not afraid to share real and logical information.
Let's talk about the organizations and companies. In this case, it is quite sensitive because the authorities have the full power to do anything, even without a reason. An employee can share anything without mentioning the name of the organization or company, and in such a case, the company should not have any right to dismiss anyone. But when an employee shares the inside information or sensitive information of a company or an organization, the authority has the right to dismiss the employee and file a lawsuit against the employee. That is how it should be, but the world is not fair, and there is no guarantee an employee will receive fair treatment in such a case. So it's better to stay on the safe side.
I know we can share anything, but I think we need to be responsible with what we share on social media, and all the information we share should be authentic, and posts should not be intentionally meant to hurt anyone, nor should they be a part of a conspiracy.

If you think that I violated any rules of this platform or my word hurting you or I made any mistakes here , let me inform about it through comments or my other social network . I will try to correct it if I made any mistakes.
