Filters is not for hiding reality

In the recent time, we all have at least one smartphone. Smartphones give us many facilities and one of the interesting facilities is taking pictures. In fact, for taking pictures smartphone companies especially pay attention to camera and camera features. They highlight the camera and its features when they launch a new smartphone in the market because most people are very interested in it.

In the past time, smartphone camera wasn't too well and for that reason, people used to use filter while taking pictures. I can still remember that in our college time, Candy Camera and B612 both were very popular camera applications. At least Candy Camera used must be installed in everyone's smartphone at that time. With time the quality of smartphones camera has improved a lot and currently, the camera given in built-in function is well capable to capture good-quality pictures and some filter exists in that built-in camera but for more filters, I have seen many users use Snapchat.

When the camera of a smartphone is developed and capable to take good-quality pictures two groups are created. One group love to use filter while taking pictures and another group love to take pictures without any filter. I think both are right from their place and both groups have logical explanations.

I belong to those who love to take pictures without any filter. I am stating the logic behind it. To be honest, I rarely take selfies except I am on a tour or making an adventure. I feel that the real picture looks very natural in my eyes and can show the real emotion behind a picture. I take pictures to memorize the moment later by seeing it and it should be very realistic and natural for it.

Our opinion change with time and that is also a reason. In the past times, I captured some selfies with friends using a filter. After capturing I felt that it was an awesome and satisfying one but when I see that picture 1 year later I felt like the picture would be better if I captured it without and filter. I don't know do you felt it anytime or not.

Capturing pictures without any filter it's the best one for me because later I can add a filter to the pictures if I want. In this way, I will get both without filter and filter pictures at the same time. But when I capture a picture with a filter it's not possible for me to get a natural picture from a filtered picture. So I am trying to be the smart one😎.

Doing makeup is a by-born right of a female person and I also think that most of the time doing makeup gives them an attractive & beautiful look. So in that case, I prefer to say that filtering is also a by-born right of a female person. At the same time teasing (within the limit) them for makeup and filter is also the by-born right of a male person 🤣 (must be with those females we know and don't try this with unknown females otherwise you might get in trouble😂🤣). But one thing is sure losing naturality doesn't makes anyone beautiful.
By the way, don't think that males don't use filters. I have seen many male people also using filters and the same thing applies to them also. (teasing is ok for fun within a limit but must need to be cautious not to humiliate them and not to hurt them).

I am not against using filters. I just love to take pictures without any filter that's it. I don't have any problem when someone takes pictures using filters and I also think that some filters are really cool also.

Once I have deceived by pictures of my college mate. In our college, there were many students and it was impossible to know everyone and their faces. One of the friends of friends asked me for some notes once on Facebook and I agreed to give him the notes because he came to me through my friend's reference and he was from a different section. I didn't know him earlier and for that reason, I saw his profile picture and promised to give notes the next day.

His section was on the way to the canteen and in the tiffin period I went to his section and started searching for him. I didn't find him there well and I immediately called by his name. Then one person come forward and said that he is the person whom I was searching for and said to give him notes. His skin color was black. It's not a problem that his skin color is black, the problem is in his profile picture he was looking very fair means he used a filter and edited his all pictures & change his skin color. I was shocked when I saw him physically.

To be honest I don't like that kind of thing. Whatever I was the incident I was deceived by the pictures on his Facebook.
