In this world, there are different types of people. Some people love to maintain cleanliness, and some people don’t care about it. They think living a life is important, and it has nothing to do with cleanliness. It’s advisable to maintain cleanliness from various perspectives, but everybody doesn’t cares about it. Some people think that cleanliness has nothing to do with finance, whereas some people think the opposite. Are you curious to know my opinion about it?
At first, I want to say it from the health perspective. It’s important to maintain cleanliness because if I live in a dirty place, my health will be impacted because of it. I may become sick because it’s very natural to get sick to stay in such a place unless my immune system gets used to it. Dirty places can affect our mood badly, and it is not good, and again, a bad mood is also not good for mental health either. On the other hand, a clean and fresh environment is very helpful to keep our mood good and keep us healthy. Health always supports cleanliness.
Does it have anything to do with money? I think it’s not so easy to give a direct answer. Let me share 2 examples of it. I was in a hostel when I was admitted to my university. There were two roommates of mine. One of them came from a rich family. I used to feel irritated to see his actions. In a rare case I have seen him clean the room. Forget about the other parts of the room; the area under his bed was very dirty. I told him many times he didn’t clean it. He had a chair, and, on that chair, he used to keep his clothes after returning to the hostel from outside. Those clothes were dirty, and the chair was like garbage in my eyes. I rarely see him washing his clothes. I had a lot of clothes, and so it was possible to continue without washing clothes. His table was the messiest one in the hostel. Not only that, but he also used to make my table messy sometimes, keeping his things. It was too much for me, and later I changed rooms because I was afraid that my health might be affected if I stayed with him in the same room, specifically mental health, even if I ignored physical health.
In my case, I want to keep my room neat and clean. My table is organized, and when I see my table, it looks decent. I know I am not a clean freak, but I am sure that I don’t like to live in dirt. In my room everything is well organized, and at least I can say my room is a decent one. Dirty rooms give me an irritating feeling, and in such a room I can’t find my things, which makes me angry easily. It affects my mood badly. Again, it is not healthy either. In the case of finance, I am not from a rich family.
So, it can be easily said that cleanliness has nothing to do with being rich or not. I mean, it’s not related to finance. It mostly depends on the mindset. If one has a mindset to maintain cleanliness, they will maintain it no matter if they have money or not. But there are a few cases where money has little influence. I mean, just a little.
Just think about the skin care, and it’s also part of cleanliness. Trying to keep our skin good and clean is also part of cleanliness. In the case of skin care, money plays a significant role, as we need to use some products to keep our skin good and clean. Those products are not so cheap either. If one wants to take care of skin, he must spend some money on it. If one is poor, they may not have the capability to buy those products. It’s the same for clothes also. So, even if one has the mindset to maintain cleanliness, there is little need for finance also.
