It is said that humans are the best creatures in this world. Human intelligence, maturity, and understanding of the situation may be the reason for saying that. At the same time, there exists another truth that humans are the worst creatures in this world. Humans are creating chaos and doing many destructive things. Humans are so bad that in many cases humans are not afraid of taking other human life but every human has the right to live. Expecting a better and peaceful world, various kinds of rules were made which are also known as law. If anyone dares to break the law, they need to be ready for the punishment also. Punishment is to make people fear and insist them not to break the law.

So each rule is made for some reason. In fact, in each family, there also exist some rules such as arriving home before evening. Not only family, in every institution there are some rules. Almost in every sector, there are rules for better management.
In the case of rules, I was always careful and I try to abide by rules each time. Instead, I also have broken rules several times. Actually, I was forced to break the rules. And I have my reason behind it. And I broke the rule in my academic institution and I was in XI-XII class at that time.
In XII class we needed to face the HSC examination which was very important for career and the results matter a lot. I was very serious in case of studies and obviously, it's natural to be serious about my HSC examination. In the first year (XI class) my attendance in class was more than 90%. In the second year (XII class) the HSC examination was approaching and the pressure of studying increased.
The college administration also started to get strict in the case of students because they wanted the best results and depending on the results the college's reputation could be increased. College authorities increased the number of classes and started some programs to make students better. So naturally almost each day time was finished in my college. Honestly, the system was very good for average-level students and for those who don't want to study at home. But in my case, it was disturbing my plan greatly. I wasn't able to take my preparation for the HSC exam the way I wanted. I realised that if I stayed at home then I could study 3/4X better compared to spending time in college.
After returning from college I was getting tired and I wasn't able to concentrate on my studies in the remaining time of the night. So the call system was getting maximum damage in my study. I became worried about my studies. I discussed it with my private tutor and later I came to the decision to write an application not to go to college for several months. I needed to write the application because one day's absence would cost me 1$ fine( penalty). So it would be a huge amount of money if I remained absent for many days.
Our principal didn't approve my application and said it wasn't possible. I tried my best to make my principal understand how much it hampered my study but my principal behaved rudely with me. As a person, the principal was not a good person but after the behaviour I received, he lost his respect as a teacher in my eyes.
I was the topper in my college and for that reason, I was close to most of the teachers. I discussed the matter with them and they felt bad for me but they could not do anything against the principal. In fact, they did not agree with many things with the ongoing program. They promised to help me as much as they can.
I was stubborn and I decided not to go to college and I did it. I was not the one who would compromise with the study. Each month my guardian received a call from the college authority to pay the fine. I told my guardian to ignore those calls because I had plans for it. The first rule I violated here is to remain absent intentionally.
At the time of registration, I went there to complete my registration, and as expected, the college authority asked for the fine and I was prepared for it. I went there with one of my cousins who was politically active. To be honest, I hate politics but many relatives of mine used to do politics and I thought using politics against a bad person was not so bad. I completed my registration by showing the influence of my cousin's political power. I think it was one kind of corruption I have done.
But I wasn't stopped there. I told my cousin to reveal the principal's wrong activity and how he was collecting money from students without any valid reason. My cousin knew more loopholes about the principal and he indirectly exposed all the illegal activities and showed how a non-governmental college made illegal money from the college. The News started to spread and many other political leaders also got involved with it and so our principal was trapped. Students also demanded a refund and at one point students attacked the principal. I have never seen such a shameless principal. Whatever, he was forced to refund a good amount of money to each student and it was a huge blow for the principal.
All the things were done by my cousin and I was smiling to see the show and I was busy with my study because of what I wasn't thinking too much about the incident. And I didn't imagine that my cousin had such kind of capability. Indeed I was wrong and broke the rule for my benefit but I feel very proud because for that reason many students got justice and refunds.
I think in my lifetime I used politics only that time and I think I have done a very good thing in exposing the principles activity in the college. And honestly, I never felt regret for breaking several rules of college.
By the way, the condition of politics in our country is much worse compared to that time and I always suggest staying away from politics in the current time.
