The power outage made my effort in vain

We are living in a digital world and in the current time because of technological development our life has become easier and more comfortable compared to the past times. Smartphones, computers, and many other devices have come to make our life better. All of the things run on electricity means without electricity those devices can't run. So the greatest invention of science is the wonder of electricity. All modern technology and devices are highly fully dependent on electricity.

For me, it is very difficult to think about my life without electricity and I can feel it when for any reason electricity disappears for some time. I experienced outage of electricity in my childhood almost every day because at that time it was a very common thing in our country. People used to say that electricity comes to us sometimes only like a guest and never comes again within a short time. Once electricity disappeared for 6 days also but that time I was a kid and I didn't experience anything worse. With time our country's economic conditions became better and I almost forgot about the outage of electricity. But because of covid-19 impact and because of corruption, the economic condition of our country became unstable and for that reason, the outage of electricity occurred many times in this year and reminded me about my past memories of load shedding. And I faced the worst situation this year because of outage of electricity.

If I am not wrong it was the time of June 2023. It was the summer season in our country and this year the temperature broke the record of the past. The heat was at extreme levels and the average temperature of every day was more than 40 degrees and it was a terrible situation for us. The 40-degree temperature would not be a problem but because of the extreme level of humidity, we were feeling very uncomfortable. On that specific day, I came home from university and I was sweating too much. I decided to drink lemon juice with cold water. I opened the fridge and the water was normal water and realised that the electricity was absent most of the time. So I skipped the plan of drinking lemon water. I went to my room and turned on the fan but exactly that time the electricity was gone again. I can't express how angry I was at that time. I was very tired but I could not sleep because everything in my room was very hot.

When the electricity returned it was almost evening time. I plugged my mobile in to charge and before my mobile fully charged electricity went out again. So I started to write a post for the Hive learners prompt. I finished writing the post in approximately 2 hours. Again electricity came and I started to create 2 banners for post using Canva on my desktop. During that time, electricity came and went many times and because of it, I needed approximately 2 hours more to complete the banners. So in a word to write the post and create banners, I gave 4 hours of investment for the post. That day I was posting using the Leofinance frontend. Everything was perfect and I was rechecking before posting and exactly the electricity was gone again. So I was waiting for electricity to return and then post it from the desktop. In the next 3 hours, the electricity didn't return and I started to panic because only a few minutes remained to make my entry. So, I was forced to buy a data pack and post it from mobile and I wasn't used to posting anything from mobile. Fortunately, I had a backup in the Google Keep application. So I was in a hurry and posted as early as possible from the Leofinance frontend. Fortunately, I was able to make my entry within time.

But but but after 5 minutes I noticed that I posted Hive Learners entry in the Leofinance community. My mood became bad and I was feeling angry on myself. I felt like all my 4 hours of effort had gone in vain. It was a very bad experience and I also lost motivation for some days. Everything happened because of outage of electricity and I am sure nothing wrong happened if I posted it using my PC.

Whatever, the incident gave me a great lesson and now each time before posting I check the community several times and ensure not to repeat the mistake.
