Hello everyone, it's me @intishar , once again. Today I am here to participate in the Hive learners contest. Today the topic is fascinating and I cannot resist participating. The topic is :
Your Most Hated Thing
For all of us, there is that one thing which we hate with passion and we try our best never to have something to do with it. What is that thing for you? Why do you hate it? Tell us.
Human is the most complicated one in this world because every human thinks of everything in different ways. Every human thinks differently which makes every human unique. That's the reason every human may have a different opinion in many cases. So like, dislike, love, and hate can vary with the person.
For example, somebody loves to talk and somebody loves to remain silent. In the opposite case, somebody hates to talk too much.
As a human, I also have feelings and emotions. I also have some things to love and at the same time, I also have some things to hate. I am discussing here today that thing which I hate most. And my most hated thing is comparison.
From our earlier age, the comparisons start with us. Mostly our parents start to compare us with others in the time when we were a baby. That time parents compare with other kids to which one is smart.
When we started to go to school people compare us with other students who score top in class. I can remember one thing in my childhood. My father said " The student who ranked first eats rice, you also eat rice. He wears the dress and you wear the same dress. Whatever he got to play, you also got it. He got the first rank why you didn't?"
And the funniest thing was that I was the second ranker in that exam and our number difference was very little.
In most of my exams, I scored as a topper because of what I got rid of that kind of comparison. But after that, some of my friend's parents started to compare them with me which really gave me bad feelings. I think because of it one kind of jealousy and toxicity started to grow in some of my friend's hearts. And I think parents are reasonable for such kind of toxicity otherwise the situation would be different.
Whenever somebody compared me with others, they tried to show me that I am weak and tried to give me a feeling like I am a loser. For a certain time, It really demotivated me very much and I lost self-confidence several times. After that time I started to ignore such kinds of comparisons and I started to believe that I am the most unique person who exists in this world and nobody is comparable with me. It doesn't matter if I am the best or the weak one. That kinds of thoughts of mine helped me to not lose self-confidence and stay positive.
A few years ago, One of my uncles said me to give some advice about life and education to my cousin who was not bad at studies. Besides his co-curricular activities is much better than mine. And the most interesting thing is he is one year senior to mine😅 which created an embarrassing situation for me. That time I realized that comparisons can also hide and destroy different kinds of talents of a human and for that reason my uncle was unable to see the others talents of his son.
Those are the reason I hate comparisons and I think many people faced the same thing in their life. In fact, many people are still facing such kind of thing. So in such kind of situation don't lose your confidence and be confident and if possible ignore it. Just remember one thing you are not a product to compare.
