Without the help of technology will lead to a dead-end

Food is a basic requirement for humans to survive. It's because food gives us energy, and without energy, we can't do anything. All of us work hard to live a good life, but all of us ensure the requirement of food at first. So, when it's about food, it's a matter that can't be overlooked.

The world population is increasing rapidly, and following the traditional way of cultivating, it's not effective to meet the demand for food. If we follow traditional and organic farming, the food will not be enough to fill our appetite. There is a high chance that we will end up because of hunger. Fortunately, we have science, which offers us a helping hand because using size as well as technology, food production can be increased three to four times using the same land. So if we want to survive, we need the help of science as well as technology.

Using the technology, the quality of seeds can be increased, which can offer us high production. Additionally, it's proven that various kinds of fertilizer are very effective in giving us massive production. Genetically modified organisms can ensure maximum production without decreasing the nutritional value. It is carefully researched if it has any harmful impact on the human body or not before such a thing is available for everyone. There are many other ways, but those ways are not as accurate as GMOs.

There are some hormonal treatments also that can boost the growth of plants and animals that we eat as food. Such a thing is very popular in recent days, but according to the opinion of people, the taste is different. I am not good at saying something about taste, so I am not sharing my opinion here about it.

Technology helps us to select the best seeds. Now we have fertilizer that can boost the production of food. Moreover, we have various kinds of chemicals that we use to protect food from harmful insects. After harvesting, we have various kinds of preservatives, including chemical preservatives that allow us to preserve food for a long time without getting rotten. From this perspective, technology is a blessing for us and trying to help us by giving a helping hand. Farmers need to spend money for fertilizer smart the result they get is more than enough to recover the cost of fertilizer. So it's profitable; yes, it's very helpful to increase quantity.

Let's talk about the quality of food. Using technology in food production should be no harm to us, or it should be very little that can't be a threat to humans. Technology can ensure it, yes, we can use fertilizer, chemicals, and chemical preservatives properly. Unfortunately, most of the farmers are not educated, and they do not know about how harmful it can be if not handled properly. Such a thing is very common because they are not trained for it, and as a result, it can impact the quality of food, which can degrade the nutrition quality, and at the same time, it can be right for the human body also. In this case, we can blame technology because improper handling depends on us.

Preservatives are used to preserve food for a long time. There are various kinds of chemical preservatives. In the market, there are still many preservatives that are harmful to use but those preservatives are quite cheap compared to those preservatives which are safe. For the greediness of making more money, many people use those harmful preservatives. Those preservatives not only degrade the nutritional value but are also harmful to us. Based on my observation, most of the food loses its nutritional value during the time of preservation, and it happens because of greedy businessmen who only think about profit.

I think resisting the help of technology for food production is complete foolishness because it will lead us to a dead end. I think educating farmers and training them is very necessary; they should know how to use technological support properly because improper handling brings the opposite result of what we expect. And in the case of preservatives, I think every food should be checked carefully, and law enforcement should be active to catch those greedy businessmen who use those preservatives that are harmful to health.
