I will say I am lucky to have a father who most times speaks in parables even when I don't understand he tries as much as possible to help me assimilate what he is saying.
LIFE
Life can be seen as a mystery that is really hard to define, so much about life I still try to comprehend. Looking at my present state in life, I don't think just a proverb will be enough to explain or describe it.
Different proverbs have been said in several occasions to describe a particular event, different happenings, even in the scripture we have been made to understand different parables in different events which has served as a guide for most of us today. Some of which I have thought of, but non of them which I thought, describe my life at the moment. They may be a perfect one though but can't just lay hold of anyone presently.
Recently in a conversation with my Dad he said a proverb in my local language I will love to share, though it is in English I will say it here but hope it implies to what he said.
The Proverb.
A fowl that is scared of rain gets a _black GIT. This was as a result of a chicken that was in the rain searching for food, if this chicken want to wait till the rain stops that means the hunger will be very severe which may lead to death, the chicken rather accept taking risk to stand the cold rather than dieing of hunger. This led to different discussions about life.
What I learnt.
- I was made to understand that an individual who is not ready to take risk finds it hard to succeed, life itself is filled with risk.
- The condition you are shouldn't influence your struggle negatively.
- Being scared makes you not to give that project a try.
Thank you for your time!!
