let's Start.
Ingredients
- 1/2 KG Split Bengal Gram Lentil
- 1 KG Rice
- 2 onions
- 2 Tomatoes.
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 18-20 Green Chillies
- 1 Chicken Cube
- Salt ( As Per Taste )
- 1 Table Spoon Dry Coriander
- 1 TeaSpoon Cumin Powder.
- 1 Teaspoon warm spice blend.
- 300 ML Oil.
- 1 Pinch of Yellow Color
Cooking Procedure
First of all, you need to wash the Spiced Split Bengal Gram Lentil 3 times and soak it in water for about 1 hour.
add the Spiced Split Bengal Gram Lentil to the sauce pan and add water to it with a little bit of salt.
Now boil the Spiced Split Bengal Gram Lentil for about 15-20 minutes until it softens.
Now take the cooking pot, and add oil to it. Heat it for around 1 minute.
Take the Onion, tomatoes, garlic and green chilli, but the onion and tomatoes. peal of the garlic cloves.
Add the onion to the cooking pot and cook it for some time until it softens.
Now chop garlic, Ginger and green chillies in the hand chopper.
Add them to the cooking pot with onions.
The next step is to bring the Dry spices and chicken and cube. after that add tomatoes and cook it for 1 minute.
add them to the cooking pot, and cook for 1 minute.
Now add the Boiled Split Bengal Gram Lentil to the cooking pot.
this is the water of Boiled Split Bengal Gram Lentil, add it to the cooking pot, it will enhance the taste. also add half liter of water in the cooking pot.
Now wash the rice 3-4 times and soak them in water for about 40 minutes.
Remove the water from it after soaking.
add rice to the cooking pot.
Cook it for about 5 minutes, Make sure the excess water gets dry. add 1 pinch of yellow colour in the water and add to the cooking pot.
now cover a partially cooked dish tightly and let it finish cooking on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, the same as seen in the picture.
Here you have delicious Spiced Split Bengal Gram Lentil Rice to eat.
You can serve them with Salad and green yoghurt.
It is one of my favorite dishes and I often ask my wife to cook this rice. Rice was cooked on my wish and i enjoy eating them.
