I recently changed my phone to a Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone I was using before now was an LG G6 device. On that device, I always loved taking pictures using a particular filter on Snapchat because it made the pictures look vibrant and sharp. On the Redmi Note 8 Pro, I still see the same filter on Snapchat but it does not seem as vibrant and sharp as it was on the LG device. I'm not sure why this is, but I'm sure I'll find an equally good filter soon.
The LG's filter effect is entirely different from that of the Redmi. Well, in a good way, though. The LG filter gave a more polished look to the photo, while the Redmi filter gave it a more natural look.
And so far, since I purchased the phone, I haven't been using filters a lot. Apart from the black and white filter with the love emojis. The black-and-white filter is my go-to filter for all my photos. It just makes the photos look so much more classic and timeless. I also love the love emojis, they add a bit of fun and emotion to the photos.
As soon as I switched to the Redmi, I disliked taking photos with filters, and this is due to its excellent camera. I realized that the pictures I was taking didn't need filters to look good. It made me appreciate the power of the camera and made me take better pictures overall.
A part of the question asked was whether I think taking photos with filters is a bad idea. My honest answer is no. Using a filter can still be fun, and it can also give a creative touch to a photo. It's a matter of personal preference, and there is no right or wrong way to take photos.
The important thing is to take pictures that you enjoy and that make you happy. As I said earlier, I take pictures with filters. I don't think using filters is a bad thing, as long as it's not overdone. It's all about finding the right balance. Plus, filters can be used to enhance the beauty of a photograph, making it more unique and interesting.
Also, I have never been deceived by someone's picture only to see something completely different when we meet in person.
However, if that happened, I wouldn't be too surprised. I understand that people can be quite different online and in person. I'm aware that the pictures we see online might not always represent the truth. Don't you think so too? We can never be sure that what we see online is an accurate representation of someone’s life.
In summary of all that I have said so far, about taking pictures with filters,
It's important to remember that filters can make a person look drastically different from what they actually look like in person. We can never be completely sure that the person we see online is the same person we would meet in real life.
