Judging from the meaning of stereotype it is not a thing one should be comfortable with i do not accept such behavior towards me, It's meaning is so clear that it almost sound like a wrong accusation.

Stereotype is said to be an unfair and also an untrue optimism that many people have on all people or other things which is not true. I have been in such situation severally and it is not comforting it very uncomfortable, I wish i could stop it not just for myself but for all out there who face such thing. I have faced it will always lead to argument and i will end up too lose against them, I don't like it and i always want to blame my forefathers for it because they caused it all.
My stereotype actually comes in two ways, I had a an argument with my colleague and it was wants ago we argued about my tribe I'm from Imo state and there is a saying that is always said goes like this βWhen one sees a snake and an mbaise man it is better to kill the mbaise man before you kill the snake. It is very wrong statement, Why are they saying this it is because they said that mbaise men are very corny and wicked, Well it could be a true statement but it doesn't define me and i am not a wicked person neither corny infact i don't play on people feelings i tried to correct that statement while arguing with my him in the office.
He was still standing on he's ground saying, he even said he had a friend that actually had that attitude infact he attributed it a lot. That moment i knew my argument will not make a sense no more but although because we are both in same office he could judge me by my character, He really made a strong argument with me but he says he wonders if I won't be like that in the future I told him i am me and i can't change me i am who i am no myth can change me because of i am from the state in question.
That was my first stereotype i get it everyday and i don't like it i repeat but there is another that i do get often that i Don't really pick a lot of offense and it concerning my looks some people will always tell me that i look like the tribe i don't come from which is Yoruba i am from imo state an igbo boy but they call me a Yoruba boy there was a day i had to pick an offense he dragged with me that I am a guy from the Yoruba land and not Igbo i was kind of pissed but truth be said i do look that way but when i try to correct you don't enforce it on me for real it's annoying.
This are all my experiences on stereotypes it is not a good thing sometimes i fill like i don't belong to the society when the conversation takes place why will someone say to my face that he or she will rather kill me first before a snake that is very mean and tribalistic, This is why i say people are annoying but is a free Dom of speech era but nevertheless No One Has The Right To Stereotype me and that is period.
