Good day my beautiful, handsome and the best hivians, I am honored to be participating in our Week 10:- Edition 03 contest i am about to talk about, Well i most say during the years i have lived on earth and in my country Nigeria. Freedom of Speech it has always been known to be your right to speak publicly, like bringing your opinion to the whole public without fear. Truly freedom of speech have really advanced most people now come out to speak while some get hurt for speaking.
What Is Freedom Of Speech
Freedom Of Speech is the right to come out and speak, Share your opinion on what might be going around in your community or in your various country. This is a free will to come out with out fear, to speak on the sanctions of the government or any body.
Now just like i said before now some can come out to speak because they have no fear in them while some people get hurt for it in the process of speaking up. Freedom of speech is supposed to be a free will thing but in a country like mine your life might just be in danger.
Also some people are free to speak their mind but also restricted by some things they could speak about it is not supposed to be so, we are supposed to be able to speak up about anything and not restricted to some of the Speech. This is very wrong why should we be restricted to some things that will be said which is mostly the truth.
I guess most of us knew about the massacre at lekki toll gate because of some youth came out to speak up and many souls were lost that night. In my country most people are so scared to speak up and the one's who wants to really really speak up go as far as hiding their identity.
It is really affecting everything and every body one way or the other, it has made some of us loose our right as a citizen. This has made things turn upside down in my country because we failed to come and speak and even though we chose to speak our lives always at risk.
This also implies to our home or school or church freedom of speech is not only about the government it is also not allowing a child to speak up for he's or herself, A guy trying to harass a girl and threatening her not to speak up because of she does he might hurt her.
Freedom of speech implies to every sector of this life and all we can do it make a change by allowing everyone to have a voice. Because if they do the it the country might rise to the better.
