Having someone you admire is really awesome but to the point of making that person an idol like you want to model and emulate is a different ball game... Today we find so many person's who looks into the life of celebrities, respectable figures and they just love the lifestyle those person's are portraying but wanting to become or practice that very life style then becomes a "NO NO" answer, and the reason is because they thought they've found a Role model but instead it was all admirations and this is the class where allot of individuals find themselves today
Choosing a Role model comes with allot of considerations, and we should know we can emulate even the dead and it will sure feel as if they are living and walking with or in us at every step of our life
I have a carefully selected Role Model, this is a Man I never knew from Adams until I stumbled upon his (Audio biography) when I listened I had to go search for him and digest more. When you talk about authenticity he's there, discipline he has every bit of it, influence he had it to the full just because of his rugged mindset
If you have ever heard of ABRAHAM LINCOLN, then know for sure that you've heard the name of an icon. This Man is my "Role Model" and I picked him for numerous reasons
BOLD: If you are someone who has studied or has interest in war then Lincoln's story is going to be a jewel to you... He's a man that has given his soldiers courage even in the face of death because of his fearless nature. IN ONE OF HIS ARTICLE - Amidst the gunshots, arsenals launching, machine guns firing, Lincoln ran into the middle of the battle field and one bullet touch ground in his front, instead of hiding he charged his army the more and when they saw his BOLDNESS they all charged up and ran towards the German soldiers and in the end it was a victory for him and his troop
A HUMAN He led a group that kicked against the slavery of black Americans even when he knew his life was at stake. He never let the slim odd of making it stop him, he succeeded in passing the bill and freeing the black Americans but in the end he was Assassinated.
A LEADER I have had the challenge in pulling a group together successfully, but the few tips I noted from the icon Lincoln and how he leads later helped me on this. He's a man that was a Born leader, he doesn't need to force you to do his will but with his life and goals, people are naturally drawn to him
TOUGH: Lincoln was not a person that easily gives up when he's out to attain a certain goal, during the years of his reign he counted quite a good number of victory because he knows how to hold on for long even when it seems like it's not coming or in his favor
There are still lots of wonderful attributes and reasons why I choose him as a Role model, and till date he's still my best figure and source of inspiration and always do my best to emulate
Icons are special and let's keep doing our best to show love and respect to those who we've picked to copy their lifestyle... Thanks allot for coming thus far your comment contributions and corrections are welcomed on this topic
