I'm really happy that I can meet up with this design contest. I had been trying to borrow a laptop for the design since last week, thankfully I was able to get one yesterday for the night and I came up with this... Okay, I admit
I've lost my design touch, I was not able to express what I had in mind fully after more than 6 months of not designing, I was expecting to do something more lit and mature, but I ended up with a Childlike design. Perhaps if I had more time with the laptop I might have done something a little much better.π€§
I started by removing the black background of the logo so I could use it how I deemed fit.
After which I created the required size of the banner 1280 by 245
Then I placed the logo in the middle of the space (I had other ideas at this point, but wasn't sure if I will be allowed to submit multiple entries...) I also created a circle and used the eraser tool to give it some unique touch, after which I placed it where the Logo was changing the color to white so the logo color could be seen clearly which resulted in this...
Because of what I had in mind, I decided that the space in the circle should come out instead of going in, so I thought of adding a square which I shaped and merged with the circle to produce this...
At this point I was indecisive about what I wanted to do next, so I thought of touching the empty space, of which I merged three colors of circles to archive this...
Still indecisive I decided to try doing something with the hive logo, I ended up power-clipping it to the banner on both sides which turned out nice. I was also looking for the best place to put the panda, and I ended up putting it behind the hive logo. (I think this was what made it look childlike to meπ)
Then again, I wasn't satisfied with how the background looked, the only thing I could think of was to increase the three circles which made it look much better, (although not satisfying to me π€§) I was kinda in a rush to return the laptop, so I left it like this...
Overall I'm happy I could design something After all this month, I'm also open to constructive criticism as it will help me do better next time.
This is entirely my work, and I give the hive learners community full access to use it if they wish to.
